Maravilhosamente situada na margem esquerda do Rio Cerna, a Pension Casa Anadam oferece uma vista magnífica sobre o vale, com vegetação exuberante e água cristalina, e disponibiliza acomodações... This is a very simple place, but also extremely welcoming and hospitable. The lady who owns the place is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The kitchen (which guests have complete use of) is modern and well equipped. The front doesn't look like much, but the moment you step through the gate it feels like another world, with a beautiful garden running down to the river. Highly recommended

Afrodita Resort & SPA is set at the feet of Domogled Mountains, in the centre of Baile Herculane, an area renown for its mineral waters. We loved the comfortable room, the swimming pool & spa, (including our massages) the location, the staff - pretty much everything was excellent. A very happy holiday but very sad to leave, next time we will stay longer...

Baile Herculane’s Diana Resort enjoys natural surroundings in a large forested area. Located a 2-minute walk from Cerna River, the property is just 250 metres from the town centre. For value for money this hotel is unbeatable. The room was huge, two bathrooms, a large bedroom, sitting room and a two balconies. Honestly the nicest hotel room, I've ever had. A good-sized indoor pool with 3 saunas, steam room and jacuzzi and loads of space to sit round the pool. Outside, there's another reasonable sized pool and jacuzzi, loads of space to sit and sunbathe and a bar with ice-cream. The breakfast was good and gave you a load of choice with lovely fresh bread. The restaurant was good with massive portions. The staff were all very pleasant. It's really close to the national park allowing you to go and enjoy the walks in the park and we had a really good trip down the Danube which is also really close.
