Medias is an interesting city but definitely the local authorities could do much better. I was shocked enough to find out that there were no buses connecting the Saxon villages nearby, notably Biertan, where one of the most beautiful fortified churches of Transylvania is located. Old City Center is worth a visit (about 1,5h if you want to make the best out of it), especially during winter when everything is white. Because of covid, there's not much to do there, unfortunately. It's difficult to find an open restaurant, but there is a takeaway place right in the central square, if you like kebab. The room was well-appointed and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best we had anywhere. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
