What Guests Said About Belgrade:

Generally everything was great.

Generally everything was great. Public transport was a little confusing but was free, so that was good (although metro still under construction). Plenty to see and do, lots of variety of cuisine. Prices were varied, but normally quite reasonable. Locals honest, friendly and mostly helpful.

Belgrade was incredible, wonderful and buzzing city with people from different countries. The night life was electric, safe and everyone was friendly. It is very easy to get around in Belgrade. We went to the Fortress, War museum and St Sava Cathedral it was incredible place to visit. We had a bunch at ( Cookiebeacon ) the food was fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will recommend the city there are so many places to see and things to in Belgrade and we will definitely visit again. And big thanks to Wizz Air for flying ✈ to Belgrade

Belgrade is a city of extraordinary energy with many interesting contents and various popular locations. There are countless restaurants serving different cuisines, then there is a variety of street food, great cafes for drinking delicious coffee, and also a large number of clubs where a great night out is guaranteed. We can say that Belgrade is the New York of the European Southeast.

As a photographer I find Belgrade great, there is so much to see around the city and transport is frequent and easy to use. Be careful when taking photos, this trip I got shouted at several times, they don't like you near government buildings or anywhere related to past 'issues'. Of course as a visitor you may not know what you are taking until afterwards, best do some research. Buses and trams are currently free so hop on and off and go explore, either use an app to get around or pop into tourist info and they have great A3 maps showing the routes. Use Google translate, don't expect everyone to speak your language, it's a bonus if they do.

Its beautiful, friendly people even though the English was limited. Some people could ignore you when you approach them, i guess because of language barrier. Just be very aware of your surroundings when walking, have your bags clutched close to you. A friend had her purse snatched form her but she reacted quickly and got it back. Walk with a friend or as a group.

Its a City on two huge rivers with an old town and a fortress Kalemegdan on the top of the highest hill. It is both antique and modern with too many places to go and really good food and hospitable people to meet. A day or two is too little to really feel and enjoy it.

An unusual place - a hotel on the water. We had a spacious room with a terrace and a jacuzzi bath, enjoyed all these extras, and for a good price. Our flight was at night and the receptionist, who was here after midnight, did't speak English, only Serbian, but there were no problems to communicate. Day's staff speaks English good, is very responsive and helpful. I really liked surrounding , a lot of green areas. You can go to Zemun, which is a very nice suburb, different from Belgrade.

I stayed in a single room, so I had all my comfort to myself. The room was spacious, clean, with a nice yard view, all new and modern furniture, etc. The location was absolutely the best you can get in the Belgrade city centre area directly inside the bohemian old town street of Skadarlija. The staff was also very polite. They didn't make an issue of arranging me for free earlier check-in and keeping my bag after check-out hours.

It was my first visit to Serbia, and it was nice that you kindly introduced me to Belgrade. The owner of the hotel even gave me wine in the evening. Thank you for giving me a big room. He seems to be a good owner who gets along well with his neighbours.

Generally, it was okay for one one-night break to our trip. The rooftop restaurant is the best that the hotel has. We stated a preference during booking for a quiet room, but it was Saturday and the nearby Student Dormitory had a big party :)
