Very nice Old Town, with interesting buildings and churches and a beautiful park. Other side of the River Danube is the Petrovaradin Fortress which provides spectacular views over Novi Sad and the river itself. You should definitely visit Danube coast near the City, Strand beach, Fruska Gora mountain, Sremski Karlovci and medieval monasteries on Fruska Gora, Petrovaradin fortress and old City center. Novi Sad is capital of culture.
Novi Sad is capital of culture. Beautiful city with friendly people around and lots of restaurants and bars. Museums and historic monuments are great because Serbian history is so interesting. Serbian National Theatre is good choice if you like variety of plays. Traditional food and drinks are delicious. Fortress on the river Danube was worth the pain of climbing the stairs😃 Lots of choices to spend your day exploring and learning. Smoking is allowed inside restaurants and hotels but you have a choice of non smoking places.The restaurant in centre Tramontana is the best pizza place in Novi Sad.👍 I will definitely visit again soon.

Any visit to Novi Sad should include a visit to the fortress at Petrovaradin on the opposite side of the Danube. This is a historic place and the panoramic views from the fortress walls are splendid. The old part of the city around the cathedral is a fascinating mixture of wide cafe lined streets linked by narrow passages full of interesting shops.
