The building is still under construction, the street is quite noisy (the bedrooms face the street), the ac doesn’t really reach the main bedroom, and I’m glad I wasn’t relying on the pull out sofa bed, but I wasn’t really bothered by any of these things. For the price, it was great.

Topola is a historical towm, housing monuments/museums relating to Serbian 19th and 20 century histoty, A visit to Oplenac, memorial chuch of King Peter 1st, where all members of the Royal family are buried in the crypt is a must. A ticket costing 500 RSD (just over 4 euro) gives you the enterance to the church and three other museums.

Church of St Djordje is the most beautiful church in Serbia! Taxi company Zrnce-Topola is great, the drivers are professional, helpful and kind. The restaurant Vozd is great, the prices are great, portions big and waitress helpful and attentive.

A small town with a long history.
A small town with a long history. In October, it hosts a harvest festival renowned throughout Europe, featuring traditional Serbian cuisine, wine, and rakija, along with folk music performances. We didn't arrive during the festival, but we found some pleasant cafes and delicious rostilj. The town also has a wine museum and wine shops. I definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Serbia.
