Kaluga is a lovely place to visit if you have someone to show you around as we did. Not very tourist orientated. The local museum of cosmonauts is a must see but if you don't speak Russian it's not worthed. Russian language is a must in Kaluga if you want to visit it. Locals rarely speak foreign languages. Enjoyed the public transport. Some of the buses in use are extremely old, rusty and with attached gas system on their roofs. Lots of old russian wood houses in the village around the town.
It is nice city in south west of Moscow. Generally it is industrial city but you can find something new (such as Monuments, churches, cathedrals and beautiful nature). I think 1-2 days accommodation in this city could be interesting.
Overall room looks comfy. It is not new, but it's "cute". Hotel is located right in front of the Oka river: it is not so far from the main street and public transport to the city centre. I've already been to Kaluga several times so this location was great for me. Bathroom has floor heating which was a big surprise. Polite administration.
Nice place for a stop over. New, very clean and spacious, accept credit cards, free parking in front and behind the builing and grocery store next door open till late. Simple but nice breakfast included. Taking price into consideration - this is the best value for money.
Perfect location close to all main sites. Decent rooms, bit gloomy lobby, friendly staff, decent breakfast. Hotel dates from end of nineties or beginning of 2000s and misses charm, but taking into account the perfect location for sightseeing, is good value for money.
It is as comfortable as any other chain hotel. The restaurant is good, a bit pricey but the food is wonderful. Private parking slots just in front of the hotel.
Very tasty food at the restaurant! Very nice and friendly staff everywhere - at reception , bar, restaurant, all the hotel personnel! Thank you for nice stay!
Great hotel, central location, clean, good food and nice staff.

Very Friendly staff, Hotel in good city location.
Everything was fine! Good trained stuff, good and comfy beds, good breakfast
