Samara is a very nice city in middle of Russia. It has very nice weather during summer where you can have a relaxed swim in the Volga river and enjoy old town which inspired many Russian poets and artists. Also it has the modern city parts where you can enjoy nice Museums and art Centers. I also enjoyed the local beer as well.
Not well known outside Russia but an important centre for industry, science and education. Interesting history with museums and sites. Beautiful surrounding countryside. Worthy of a visit, although probably better in summer.
This is a very historic city, with important sights and things to see if you are a history interest person (Stalin bunker, the main square, the biggest in Europe, comosnaltic related). This is a very calm city, with a small town atmosphere.
I liked the city in general: its parks, architecture, old town, specially the Volga River beach. There are some places that seem to be deteriorated, but in my view this does not diminish my good impression of the town.
Beautiful city ... great people, favorite spot was around the river a place called art & fact Food is good ! Is very affordable prices are good for food and drinks ! Weather is great in June ! The sunset was amazing
We visited Samara for the football world cup so we had a specific purpose to go there. I don't think we would have gone to Samara otherwise. Samara seems to be quite spread out but the waterfront was a nice place to visit with lots of nice restaurants. Samara Arena was a beautiful venue.
Excellent location, right in the heart of Samara, so you walk everywhere. Free filter water, breakfast, shower gel and shampoo were big pluses. Beds were very comfortable with a curtain round them so you got privacy in the room and each bed had a plug socket, lamp and shelf next to them. There were also boxes under the bed which were handy. The kitchen was really big and clean and has everything you need. Great value for money.
Staff was very friendly. Rooms are clean. Stayed for two nights. Room got cleaned and bed made. Not usual for 2* category hotel. They have a secure parking place, where I could park my motorcycle for like 0,8$/day. The area is very nice with cafés, restaurants, pedestrian zone, museums and parks. Beach is about 20 minutes on foot. In my opinion excellent price-performance ratio.
The interior design was quite impressive for the price range. The room (standard double) was very clean and neat. Bathroom facilities were good. The location of the hotel is excellent, it's a 5 minute walk from the Revolution square and Leningradskaya street (one of the main streets of Samara), and 15-20 minute walk from the river bank.
Amazing new hotel, 15 min drive from the city centre, with squirrels and fascinating Volga view, welcoming staff that allowed me to sign in at 9am instead of 3pm after my flight to Samara. Great large rooms with panoramic windows. Better than your average Lotte or Hilton.
Breakfast is really nice. I and my family were fully satisfied. Also, there is a 20% discount for guests in the hotel restaurant and a good proposal for children. Nice pool and water facilities, we spent there a lot of time. Very friendly to families with children.
The room was simple but it looked renovated. There wasn't any table to work. The staff didn't speak English but was friendly. The hotel is located in the old area of the city and is a good place to walk around and look for restaurants.
Everything is perfect as usual, It's not the first time for me, I usually visit this hotel, the staff are great and breakfast it's rich and tasty, Highly recommended
This a standard Ibis hotel. Almost the same as in other cities of Russia. We are know what to expect from this level of hotel
Breakfast lacks variety, but overall the hotel is very nice, especially given the price of the stay.
Nice location, embankment of Volga river, near famous "Dno" (Samara beer factory).
It is a very comfortable hotel. Perfect location. Very customer oriented personnel.
Good location, overall decent hotel for the price.
Awesome hotel, 200m to the beach
