I spent just 3 days in Sochi. To my mind, this is a nice resort city, though I wouldn't come here twice. My advice is - go to Dubai. I don't think it'll be more pricy, but much more adventurous and impressive
Because of the Wuflu travel outside Russia wasn't available. But going to Sochi was great since it feels very European with all the great parks and such. The beach areas are well set up and the restaurants were all quite pleasant to visit with very reasonable prices.
Sochi is a city that you must visit, in the winter and in the summer, you have to visit Rosa Hutor, Krasnoya polana, the 33 waterfalls, "climb" to "Rosa pik" and you will see the clouds beneath you !
Okay, gotta be blunt about Sochi, when I first arrived I stayed in a different location, huge mistake. Bad neighorhood and so so accomodations. But when I move closer to the beach I understood it was a wise choice. Sochi has a similar feel to Southern California with a mix of Santa Barbara. I was astounded how lush the vegetation was all over the city center. Everytime I turned around I'd find a new park with the same feel of coziness and warmth. The beach area was wonderful, many areas had umbrellas and lounge chairs that were set up for rent for very reasonable prices. One last note, the boardwalk along the beach area went on forever. Lots of fantastic restaurants and loads of little boutique stores with clothing shops and everything else under the sun. Amazing place, great experience.
I'm not an everday tourist trying to pack in everything in a short visit but there is enough to see for at least a week. Highlight's were Stalin's summer house, the Olympic stadium and walks along the Black Sea and river.
It’s divided into two regions Sochi with the beach and island vibes, I’m a bit of an adrenaline junkie so I went to the Dolphinarium and got to swim with dolphins, went to the Disney land theme park with wonderful exciting rides and I went to AJ hattchet (though a bit out of town) but got to zip line and mega troll. And the second region is Krasnaya polyana which was a winter wonderland. Cheap messages, went to the indoor water park, and took the cable car to the highest snowy mountains and got to go on the swing. It was amazing. Everything is super cheap compared to Moscow, especially taxi.
We had such a good time at the Chayka hotel! Everything is so modern, new, clean and stylish. So, every location is a photo spot. The breakfast was good, but maybe a little overpriced. It’s actually good, that hotel is small, that’s why it’s so cozy and you can relax without standing in the crowds to the elevator or bumping into your neighbours. The staff was friendly and helpful. I cannot help saying how amazing the dog is, she would always make my mood and day better, I’m gonna miss her a lot!
i would like to share my opinion about this hotel and staff. and i am grateful to mr. Pavel, mr.Alexsandr and ms. Anastasia they are so professional and friendly. They did their best to help me for everything .the place is perfect near to everywhere and the price is suitable. My sochi trip was and incredible and memorable will visit again definetly .
Best hostel I've ever been and I've been to many in Europe :D. Very nice staff. They speak russian, english and german. The location is just wonderful near to the beach, city and public transport. The furnishings are new and modern. The hostel is highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again.
Excellent guest experience, everything went smoothly , people are friendly and take your requests really seriously. Warm Outdoor pool is a pleasure in a cold weather. Also breakfast deserves a special appraisal. I think is one of the best hotels in Sochi.
Very nice property, my room was very clean with a big window looking over the river, excellent location close to city center and the beach, exceptional personnel, the price is also pleasant. Will definitely stay here next time when I’m in town.
There are two pools. Outdoors and indoors. Indoor facilities (pool, gym, steam room) are supposedly run by somebody else and hotel guests simply have access to them. Outdoor pool was okey, primarily good for kids hangout rather a swim.
It more than justifies it’s money. Friendly staff, nice restaurant, close to Sochi city and a beach is at walking distance. Buses and restaurants are close as well. It is a good area of Sochi.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was nicely sized and clean. The breakfast was simple and was filling. The hotel was a bit out of the way but the price made it worth it.
Good location, many amenities inside the hotel - heated swimming pool, Thai spa, couple of restaurants and shops. Nice clean rooms, although you can see that the hotel is not very new.
The staff were very kind, polite and accommodating. The breakfast was generally pretty good and the entire hotel was VERY clean and modern. Great views of the sea and a wonderful spa.
Very nice Scandinavian design. Minimalistic and neat, which is not so often to meet in Sochi. Super cool location. Everything one needs for the week or more staying is there.
Recommend taking this hotel with half-board option. Our special thanks for meals - they were excellent!
The way this Hotel is looking after its guests they are creating bench mark for others to follow.
Breakfast was very good, but the sea so far. Staff is friendly, no more in this hotel
Hotel is in a good location, not too big. Rooms large and nicely decorated
Very nice hotel, beautiful big sunny rooms, hotel staff is polite
Friendly and supportive Team! Very clean and comfortable room with a magnificent view! I really love this hotel from the first time and I highly recommend this place. Many thanks everyone for making always our stay gorgeous!
The price is more or less ok, though in many countries one can have a ***Hotel for this price. Here only ** is available. Th supermarket is 200 m away. The breakfast is rather hearty
