The Sokol is located in the historic building, a former mansion of merchant Voronin, in the heart of the ancient town of Suzdal, in front of the Kremlin. Probably the most central location in Suzdal - right next to Kremlin and Trading square. However, all attractions there are within walking distance anyway. Basic, but good breakfast and comfy rooms. There are funkier places with better restaurants, but this one is perfect as "traditional" city hotel. Quite limited parking nearby if you come on a weekend, but they appear in numbers as day-tripper start to leave around 6pm or so. There is room service apparently, although have not used it. There is also travel services office downstairs - may be useful if you need it. However, not used it as well. Overall - very good price/quality.

Great hosts! Arranged vegetarian food for me though it was difficult...Very understanding, specially the receptionist and the director..Super clean, compact rooms. The property also has some animals and lake for you to look around.
