This city is perfect for young travellers. It's a student city, so the night life is great. Also walking alone in the evening (in the city centre near the water) I felt safe since there's always groups of (mixed gender) friends and young couples on the street, which makes the city feel like it never really sleeps. Also the view over the water and the bridge from the train station is just amazing. There are some nice things to do in the area (Oceanarium, cycling on the Russian island), but mostly I just fell in love with general vibe of the city.
Interesting city, with a proper seaside feel and different to other parts in Russia. We were shocked with the heavy traffic, aggressive drivers, lack of pedestrian facilities and high levels of pollution - we think it was the worst city for pedestrians after over a month in the country. Some of the top attractions (Eagle’s Nest and Egersheld Lighthouse) are hard to reach. Accommodation seems to be way more expensive than the rest of Russia.
The city is in a poor condition. The roads are in a terrible condition. There are some good restaurants in the city but mostly the level of service leaves to desire better. The restaurants are over-priced.
It’s a nice city. But not very touristic and definitely not a western tourists friendly. As other parts of Russia, people don’t really speak English nor other languages and don’t even try, in order to help. So, make sure you download those translator apps to your phone and get a SIM card in the airport before you start your trip to there or any other place in Russia. You will need one full day to explore the touristic sights of the city, unless you want to take it really slow.
Nice city with a lot of business and store. The city is perfect for shooping and visit to acquarium or sea life. The life is dinamic, 24hours a day. The best option is arrive by airplane/train then use the taxi. If you will use your car, you need to be patient as there is a lot of traffic.
Vladivostok is a great city! It’s very modern and very dynamic one. You can enjoy a friendly environment walking around the city. People are happy to help at anytime. One can’t omit to mention that Vladivostok is a great sea port with beautiful beaches around the territory of the city and also with the best seafood ever!
For the price, the place is top notch! Great location, convenient store and restaurant just outside. Wonderful staff, lovely and peaceful interior. We got the deluxe studio, perfect place for family of 4 with small kids. Feel very private and comfy. To Anna, thank you for being patient with a non- Russian speaking guest. Appreciate the hospitality.
Very excited staying in this place. Rooms are so nice and clean. Stuff is very polite and friendly. Also I did like a food in local Cafe. And hotel's location just in the downtown, so there are many places to go near it. Totally recommend it!
Good hotel in the city center next to the train station and to the main touristic atractions. The staff was able to speak really good english and they were always ready to help. The breakfast was good and with plenty of choices.
The room is large, with amenities all you need for stay. Breakfast is very good and delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Staff allowed me to do early check-in without extra charge. The hotel has nice cafe on 1st floor.
