Jamelah Beach Guest House is located in Mahé directly on the white sand beach of Anse aux Pins. It features a tropical garden, air conditioning and free WiFi in the public areas and beach. Breakfast was very good with a lot of fruit. The leftovers are happily received by the tortoises, who live there. The best was the friendliness of the boss and Ms Gracey. Always nice, always helpful. I even liked the house beach
The Reef Palm is located 3.1 mi from Seychelles International Airport and 20 minutes’ walk from Reef Beach. It offers an air-conditioned bedroom, a terrace, and a kitchen. Jude is a fantastic host. Friendly, knowledgeable and local. He dropped as at the ferry port, picked us up a couple weeks later and even sorted out our rental car for us and took us to the airport in the rental as the company staff were on holiday. We arrived on a Sunday and he shared his lunch with us as nothing was open nearby and we did not have a car the first 2 days. Fruit in a basket and fruit juice and some milk. Nice electric kettle. Large kitchen area, very clean, nice comfy chairs big enough for 2 to snuggle and really nice wall-mounted TV. We loved having our own separate building like our own little home. Comfy bed, good storage closet and hot shower all good. We cooked for 2 nights but did find it challenging getting anything other than pasta and tins by bus. We had an amazing (albeit expensive) meal at the Takamaka distillery on our second visit at the end of our trip. Totally first class and this is not far away. Worth noting the rum is 15-20% more at the distillery shop than at the airport duty free so wait to buy.
Set high above sea level, Villa Kayola - Self Catering is set on Mahe Island, 15 minutes' walk from the beach at Anse aux Pins. Free private parking is available on site. Spectacular view, kitchen very well equipped and the bed is super comfortable.
The area is quiet and away from the main town of victoria.I enjoyed the peace it offers.Beaches run adjacent to the east coast road giving a scenic view while driving.I wish they could build a walkway for the travellers to enjoy walks even more.
Although it's not so close to the best beaches, it was easy to get around by bus, with good transport connections. We liked the friendly people, and it was quiet and calm. Our main reason for going back there would be the excellent accommodation found at Le Triskell.
It is nice and small area...you can't expect much in Seychelles as they have only a little villages with restaurants and beaches! We love the beaches...everywhere you drive along the coast you always have a beautiful beaches with nice relaxing restaurants! It is really easy to drive there thru the whole island!! We loved it there!!!
It is a nice small island and you can travel over the whole island in 4 days, there is not much to do and food is very expensive. make sure you have loads of money to spend when you go there as every thing costs almost 3 times what we pay in South Africa
Nice view clean rooms pleasant staff Poor value... shower and bath leaked unusable. 9Bed and pillow uncomfortable w no blanket No tv Wifi poor and intermittent Expensive for car travel for 7min No attractions close by Small breakfast
Anse aux pins is a good place to live. But not better than places like Eden Island,Victoria or Beau Vallon. These places have more emenities and stuff to do rather than Anse aux pins.Deepam Cinema available at Victoria.Grocery stores everywhere at Victoria.Butchers grill fast food Restaurant.Pizza Burger..
