This area is very quiet and peaceful. Excellent for recharging your batteries. There isn't much to do in the area so you need to be aware that this is for pure relaxation more than anything. The bus timings are a little unreliable and some of the drivers seem to drive as if they're in a race, which makes it all a bit uncomfortable. The ferry port services are very good and ferries are reliable. There is a dive centre next to the port - if that's your thing - good rates and friendly staff too. You can charter a boat from them also.
I was on foot so didn’t get to explore much, but the scenery was beautiful. I snorkelled a little and saw plenty of fish, though there was better snorkelling when I went on a separate tour (as expected). Overall, very scenic place but you’d need a car to make the most of it
Such a dissapointed time With the french manager Mr olivier such arrogant caracter no kind to me and my wife ... beside this was good stay just the water in bath i s yellow and had an allergy The staff are amazing espicially that girl from mauritius at the frontoffice she was so kind and genuine .. Looking forward too be back but under a new manager in future .will be better ..
Nice location, well positioned to "everywhere" on the island. But we recommend to rent and use a car against just using a public transport - even if also with it you can however to get nearly to all possible places on the island, but you might lose a lot of time, which you could otherwise enjoy on beaches, jungle, etc.
Baie Sainte Anne is a convenient base to travel to beaches, the forest and all over the island of Praslin. It has many eating places and take aways. One can also take a boat from there to the neighbouring small islands and it is also close to the main jetty.
Baie Sainte Anne is one of the best places to stay if you plan to discover all the island. It is a great place where mostly locals live. There are several shops and small restaurants in the village. You can buy fresh farmer's fruit and vegetable at a stall near the intersection of the coast road and the Vallée de Mai road, or fresh and cheap fish directly from fishermen who gather on the main road a few meters away from the intersection towards the north. There is no beach in Baie Sainte Anne; however, you can take either a bus to any beach on the island, or walk to Anse Volbert beach (about 15 minutes away from the intersection using the sidewalk and a path through Cap Samy to avoid the main road). The ferry port is in Baie Sainte Anne, and the Vallée de Mai about 5 minutes away by bus.
Baie Sainte Anne
The place is beautiful, as in general the entire island. The hotel gardens and infrastructure are very well maintained. The staff was super nice and helpful, trying to resolve all the questions and help with bookings, recommendations, ... They really make a difference making a great experience in the island The restaurant has great views on the bay so it's amazing having a breakfast there with the fresh air and the sounds of the sea. The breakfast is also very good, with your homemade juices, fruits, bread and sweet , eggs, ...
Hotel was really nice, located a little off the city center which made it really quiet, peaceful and relaxing Beach access was just 2 minutes walk A mini-mart was just next to the hotel for some munching Hotel it-self was super clean and tidy, the restaurant lounge was very comfortable and sound of the waves was very relaxing Hotel staff was super caring and helped proactively in assisting in all requests Breakfast and dinner was super delicious Wifi was good View from the room was great
Baie Sainte Anne
Extremely nice garden and view from the room and the restaurant. Room was comfortable, altough the furniture a bit expired, but it had everything a hotel room can offer. Breakfast is really good, not too diversified, but very well prepared, basically different kinds of eggs, with fruit salad, coffee, and patisserie. It's not far from the ferry jet, but you need a car to get to discover the island, go to beaches and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay there.
Baie Sainte Anne
Simply outstanding. Best staff ever. Everything was taken care of, nothing was to much. Very personal, very warm. Wonderfull room. beautifull bathroom, clean. Beachbeds carried on the amazing beach every day. Car and boat arranged in five minutes when you asked. Good fresh food. I'm not really into writing reviews, but this hotel and these people simply deserve a excellent judgement. Monique and Simon, The Netherlands.
Baie Sainte Anne
I had a lot of money stolen from my wallet, either in my bungalow at night when I was there, or on a boat recommended by the hotel. (The wallet was hidden, but we went snorkelling). When I told the hotel owner of this, he was extremely insulting towards me, I have the entire email correspondence and despite keeping it professional my side, he was very insulting
The hotel is well located - just in front of the ocean with a direct access to the beautiful and very long sand beach. There are enough sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. Bungalows are equipped by everything you need and have nice terraces facing the ocean. Breakfasts and dinners were good enough.
Excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location on the beach with wonderful sea view. There is a good diving center in the hotel, we dived with them for 3 days and we liked it very much. Looking forward to coming again in summer time. Sergey and Anastasia.
The most beautiful and amazing hotel in Praslin Island. Beautiful nature ,good atmosphere, nice beach 🏖 and lovely food🥘 The stuff are very nice , accommodating and friendly😘Absolutely magical place🌺🌺🌺We will definitely be back❤️

The location was wonderful, the hotel was spectacular and the service was perfect. Special thanks to Ricky & Fatira for making our stay all the more enjoyable.
Baie Sainte Anne
The staff is very kind. Wifi is working well. The hotel is just in front of the beach, there are supermarkets nearby. The room was very clean. We recommend it
Great beach, good infrastructure but it seems the service is lacking a bit of attention. The kitchen does not correspond to the level of the hotel.
Baie Sainte Anne
I liked the cleanness of the hotel, the friendly staff and the food at the hotel. the beach was excellent and was few steps from the hotel.
Small, very nice hotel with strategic place close to ferry (short cut just 5 min by walk from port). Nice restaurant and swimmingpool
Baie Sainte Anne
We loved everything about our stay at Les Villas d'Or from the moment we arrived. Pierre and the nice lady at the check in, even the housekeeper lady welcomed us in a way that made us comfortable right away. So different from the disappointing attitude at our hotel in Mahe. Cozy and clean bungalow, beautiful beach, nice people. We had some unexpected issues with the ferry company that we wanted to take care of early on the morning we checked out and since there were no available taxis, Pierre, the manager was so kind and helpful that he drove us himself. We were amazed and so thankful to him! Thank you again, Pierre!
Baie Sainte Anne
Very cozy villa in Praslin. Best location to visit this island, near the cote d'or, 2 minutes walk from Anse Volbert (one of the best beaches!) and from La Goulue restaurant, shops and take away.
Baie Sainte Anne
