Amazing and well decorated hotel. The facilities were also great, very comfortable bedrooms, happy hour with jazz and an incredible well trained staff. Restaurant’s menu is very tasty. Was near to the beach and all facilities like money exchange , restaurants , take away , markets etc. Sam the caretaker deserves a special mention, always ready to help and always there to take care of any requirements. He was a big help to assist us with whatever requirements we had. On the other side, the Internet was a bit slow when using it for video calls.

We've enjoyed our stay at Seaside Self Catering. The room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. The room is neat and clean. The location is perfect, just across the street from the beach. The Wi-Fi is reliable. An applause also for the hospitality of the host, Marie. She went beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. She's very kind and helpful. She also gave us a nice welcome gift, which was very thoughtful. Seaside Self Catering is highly recommended for a stay in Mahe, Seychelles.

I had an amazing stay at this property! The cleanliness was impeccable, and all the amenities were in excellent condition. The mountain and beach view from my room and the balcony was truly breathtaking and incredibly relaxing. What made this stay even more special was the wonderful people there. Jimmy, the owner, was not only nice and helpful but also incredibly friendly, making deep conversations a delightful part of the experience. Maya also, was truly awesome and added to the warm hospitality. As a bonus, they have two friendly dogs and two adorable cats on the property, the property had an amazing garden which made my stay even more enjoyable. I can't recommend this place enough for a perfect combination of comfort, stunning views, and fantastic people.

    Mahe is very busy so if you do not like a quiet getaway this Island is for you. There are various beaches to visit, museums and art galleries. Be mindful of public holidays, many places are closed. Saturdays are half day and Sundays they closed. Plan your stay and excursions so you are aware of what will be open and when. Food is great, visit the Boat House and Beach Shack at Beau Vallon.

    A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches...

    A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches or other POI`s. But the roads are narrow and you drive on the left, so you have to be careful. The buses have a schedule, but they don't necessarily follow it, and you don`t want to wait for it on the side of the road, in the heat. If you're the all-inclusive type who stays in one place from start to finish, then forget about the car.

    Mahé – A True Paradise Mahé captured our hearts from the very first moment. The island is a beautiful blend of lush green mountains, stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We loved exploring its charming beaches like Anse Royale and Takamaka, snorkeling in warm waters, and discovering hidden local spots. Every corner felt like a postcard — vibrant, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. Mahé offered the perfect balance between adventure and pure relaxation, and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. We can't wait to come back one day!

    Its privacy yet right upon the beach. Ros A Mer provided all cooking facilities. The dining experierience, there were so many choices on the patio, inside or evan on the beach to the accompyment of the sound of the waves. From every angle was a beautiful view. We were received by the owners and Ermma. So helpful and welcoming. The air and was so good as was local cusine and we can say we left feeling healed and restored. The inspiration we carry with us.     We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival. The island is absolutely stunning, from the wild jungle and huge granite mountains to the pristine beaches and indescribably blue sea. The driving is crazy - the roads are not straight with lots of steep curves and bends, so drive carefully if you hire a car to explore the island, which is highly recommended. There are lots of hidden gems - we ate at Maria's Rock which was a fabulous experience, and we highly recommend eating at the Boat House on Beau Vallon beach and the Green House in Au Cap. Buy freshly caught fish from the fish sellers on the side of the road and cook your own - it is cheap and delicious. Food in general, whether you are eating out or buying from one of the local corner grocery stores, is very pricey, so beware! Visit the Botanical Gardens and grab a delicious pastry and ice cream from the Polish owned bakery just across the road and down from the Botanical Gardens entrance. Definitely visit the Mission Ruins in Venn's Town in the Morne Seychellois National Park, the views are breathtaking. Also visit the beach at Anse Soleil for the best sunsets.

    I really enjoyed Praslin - I had stayed 6 days in Praslin and 5 in Mahe. If I ever come back (i would love too) i would stay only one day in Mahe and the rest in Praslin. I brought my own coffee, the supermarkers are available but tehy had only nescafe, the available products are imported and expensive compare to Europe(butter, bear, bread and so one). It worth renting a car right from teh boat - if you are nor tired (They drive on the left side !!). Taxi is extremelly expensive and not available - for teh New Year we call two number , did not get any answer so we went using the renting car). You need a car and in my opion public transportation is not a solution. You can pay with car almost everywhere except for taxi (I used Revolut) so you do not need a lot of cash in rupees. Some restaurant they charge you also for service on the bill 5% or 10%. Best Beach Four Season Good restaurant Green House Le duc - Praslin Le repaire- La digue

    Soul is a very hospitable host. We have received an apartment on the ground floor, very well equipped, with an amazing view over Anse Royale. The bed and pillows were comfortable, AC was working perfectly. Location is close to supermarkets, fish market, few take aways(the best one IMO, Sega just across the street), bus stop, pharmacy etc. Soul even let us check out later due to late flight back which we appreciate a lot. 100% recommend and will stay again if someday in Seychelles.

    5 Star 🌟 Appartments, great facilities, ideal for family holiday. Hire car is essential if you want to explore Mahe and make the most of the beautiful island. Close to amenities and beach.
