I was looking for a quiet place to stay, while visiting southern Öland for outdoor activities, and the location at the edge of a village and with farm fields around, matched what I wanted. The patio area outside of the room was an enjoyable place to spend time outside (the weather was very nice when I was there).

In a renovated 1860s farmhouse, this inn offers views of the Baltic Sea and the barren limestone plains of Stora Alvaret, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wi-Fi is free.

The stuga was very clean and well equipped. The grounds were very nice. The swimming pool was a real highlight; the shallow kids pool and the main pool were perfect for the whole family. We really enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The location was good, especially for visiting sites in the south of Öland. There was plenty of parking on site.
