Location first and foremost as we were there to attend the first Atlas Rock. It was our 1st trip to Sweden so it needed to be as easy as possible to get to where we needed to go and it was. Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We plan to stay there every year for Atlas Rock or any trip in that area.

The location is perfect! when I called before I came the staff was very nice and helpful. They were also very nice when I checked out (other than that I haven't met them). The single room is big enough and well equipped. There is a small kitchen in which you can make coffe or tea with cookies.

We got more than we expected for the price. A nice bonus was a private shower. Other facilities were nice too. The owner was kind and generous, and even asked us what kind of breakfast bread we like. She made breakfast bags for all guests.

Pretty and compact city centre - wish I was still around to see the giant Goat. Well kept pool hall at Interpool. Good eating at Sarah's and the Pub and Kok next door. Friendly service at Roma Pizzeria.

Nice typical small city of Sweden. Go here during the summer to sit down in one of the cafes/pubs for a beer or a latte. Wintertime it is a bit more hostile so be prepared with warm cloth and a great apatite for looking at old buildings. Slow moving

Plenty of nice restaurants, shopping and the city is built for bike riding as is most of Sweden. There are plenty of places to rent bikes from if that is your thing and there are lots of are activities.

Curious why the score isn't higher, it's brilliant for what it is. An old temperance hotel in a historic building, atmospheric, quiet and well-kept. Friendly greeting, got an early check-in and a nice corner room away from the station square. Free coffee and biscuits in the afternoon. Good breakfast in a bright and cosy room. The hotel is worth a trip to Gävle in its own right!

It’s was a very cozy place, walking distance to anything in Gävle. Unfortunately the bathrooms seems very dirty and there was mold. The room itself was great, the bathroom with shower were unfortunately not fresh
