The location is beautiful. The cabin is fresh, clean, and cozy. We stayed during the summer and really enjoyed sitting and eating on the wooden porch. The toilet is an "utedass" (outdoor toilet), but in a modern and well-maintained version. Drinking water and water for washing dishes are provided in 5- and 10-liter plastic containers. There are animals in the yard (chickens, roosters, dogs, and horses), but they are calm and don’t disturb at all. The air is fresh and clean, and the surrounding forest adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The experience was very nice and authentic. The host was very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place!

We only needed a place to crash and take a break after a very long drive from Norway and we booked a bit last minute the day before. When we arrived everything was set and ready for our short stay. The apartment is very well laid out, cozy and spotless throughout; the kitchen well-equipped; the bed super comfy. Everything was absolutely perfect. The TV is huge which made for a great movie night in. The surrounding area is stunning with paths up the hill overlooking the forest and lakes. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
