The breakfast was amazing and even though we've had booked a room with a shared shower, we didn't mind at all. The shower was very clean and always available. We've had a perfect stay and would love to come back any time. Walking distance from the train station and castle and a supermarket (hemköp) just across the street.

The down side: there are many things in construction or under reparations at the moment. I believe the government should invest more as Örebro has the potential to become a 'Disney Wonderland' kind of adventure.

Beautiful clean city 😩 lovely people and great places to visit. I’ve stayed in both the Scandic Hotel near the station (lovely and modern) and The Elite Stora Hotel (central, older building, clean and friendly staff) The castle is wonderful and so are the cakes!

The timeline monument of Örebro and Sweden history at Järntorget really got me.
In swedish though, but still fascinating.
The statues and artwork around The city - a giant duck made by old Rubber wheels!
Have to come back and explore Wadköping that I visited as a Youtube...

I liked the location. The staff were friendly. The photos on booking.com suggested something that wasn't really there. I can't remember exactly what was said at the check in but the check out was interesting. The reception desk was closed. We left the keys in the room. It was easy enough but unexpected and relied on us guessing the process.
The hotel was good, no complaints but as I said, not what I expected given the photos. Other times when I have stayed in old hotels, there is an element of the old-world charm and facilities. This was lacking but there was nothing really wrong with the hotel itself, it was simply my expectation based on what I saw in booking.com.

The town was quite cultural, with its huge and historically significant castle, and outdoor museum of wooden buildings - but the indoor museum is currently undergoing a year long refurbishment and so inaccessible. The town is also quite pretty, particularly along the river. For shoppers there is a good selection of stores, as well as cafes and restaurants. Like all of Sweden it will be found expensive by non Scandinavians. We arrived by rail, which is a good way to travel, though the station is a little way from the town centre.

we came to Õrebro for the open art - and this was great - it is on every other year - so after this year it is 2024. the whole town was lovely with a great central castle. Good choice of restaurant and good shopping
we will definitely come back to the lovely town

The room was spacious, well-furnished, and clean. The bed was particularly comfortable, which made for a restful night’s sleep. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Prompt room service and helpful concierge were notable. The hotels location was convenient, which made it easy to explore the area without too much time commuting. The room provided stunning views of the surrounding landscape, and the meals provided by the hotel were delicious.

Everything. The apartment has character. And if you are looking for a clean and comfortable (not luxury) property, this was surprisingly great for the price. It exceeded my expectations. The location is xcellent. Although in the city center, it is very quiet and relaxing inside.
The bed is very comfortable as I've not experienced in many expensive hotels.
More important: Isaac was very helpful, kind and professional. I recommend this property as one of the best in Scandinavia.

The hotel has 2 buildings, the main building is originally a hotel. The 2nd (where our room was) is a former bank building nextdoor. It has odd characteristics like a bank vault door in front of the spa and extra fortified doors, we had a windowless room, after 3 nights with about 3 hours of no sun due to it being summer in Scandinavia its a welcome change to have absolute darkness

Location was good, close to railway station, close to city centre. Prince was good. Breakfast was very good. Had some problems with the door opening electronics in the evening (the device was broken, but that was not the hotel's fault).
