This is a self-catering apartment, and everything was available. Good sized fridge, too. The view was lovely, we were here for nature, so this was perfect. The owners were extremely helpful and kind, generous folk.

We stayed for one night and were completely satisfied. The view from the window makes the stay unforgettable. The beds are extremely comfortable, there was everything like at home, very clean, neat, there were absolutely all the necessary things, even more. Very nice hosts.

    Cerknica is nothing impressive, it has some charms of many other small Slovenian towns, but nothing to be especially remembered for. But as a start point for interesting and beautiful sightseeing and adventures it can be considered one of the best in (and not limited to) Slovenia.

    This place is a gem in the middle of the Slovenian hills. The room is small with the essentials and comfy beds. Here you can be completely in touch with nature and the authenticity of a farm. Urban went far beyond to make us happy with the food and all our intolerances and allergies. They made gluten free bread and put together a vegetarian 5* dinner! With veggies and mushrooms picked up directly from the garden! This place is amazing! We have been spoiled and happily would come back.

    Beautiful apartment with a very nice balcony, view over the fields, a nice winter garden and a perfectly equipped kitchen. The host, Samo, is very friendly and helpful with everything, e.g. restaurant options. The house is in a quiet area of Cerknica and the city center is walking distance. Perfect location to visit Cerknica lake or Grad Snežnik or hike up to Slivnica. I wish I could have stayed longer! Najlepša hvala, Samo!

    The owners were very nice. We got fruit from their garden. Children loved the place. There is great museum about the Cerknica lake 2 minutes from the appartment. Great place for stop on the way from croatia to austria.

    Upgrade of the room. Kindness of employees. Location, place, quietness. In the center of the protected natural park, with walking paths from the Hotel to all marvellous wonders of Nature, caves, tunnels, rivers.
