Very cozy room, said “mini double” but it was actually just a normal double room, even there were a their bad. We had great window view, all equipment inside, but no minibar (what is basically great🤣 no money waisted) I didn’t try spa, but the breakfast was very good.

Staying at Boutique Hotel Vitranc was outstanding. We loved the Alpine-style rooms and the view of the mountains. The hotel is located in the centre of a small village which was just a step away from the bike road that leads to Kranjska Gra or to Lago di Fuisine. We loved it. Also, the staff was extremely nice and pleasant. The downstairs restaurant has nice food, we tried the beef and tuna carpaccio with homemade butter. Loved it. So, see you next time.

A good starting point also for alpine hikes. Everything within max. 1 hour by car. Every restaurant is very good. Special experience was Lačni Kekec. But restaurants in hotel Pino Alpino and Kotnik were also very good.

Beautiful Alpine village. It had everything we needed. Wonderful atmosphere throughout, and the views....I could never get bored of just admiring the beauty. I will absolutely be visiting again. The village is ideal for: Skiing Bike rental Swimming at the nearby lake Hiking and walking Eating

Podkoren is a small village about half an hour's walk from Kranjska Gora. We enjoyed a day walking round Kranjska Gora and the lake to the south - Lake Jasna. On another day, we walked around Lake Bohinj which is much quieter than its touristy rival, Lake Bled. Lake Bled does have some great things to see and do. Lubliana is a reasonable journey by car, although you do need some patience with the P+R system. The Vrsic Pass has wonderful scenery and is worth travelling to. For a short excursion, cross the Italian border and visit Lakes Fusine and Superior. Finally, summer offers an opportunity to use the slopes for a mountain toboggan ride. Walk up if you are fit, or use the chairlift, and then roar down on the metal rail for a thrilling experience.

It is only a small town in the valley. Great for hiking and biking. Beautiful waterfalls and views on the Triglav and the mountains around. It is a town to be active during the day and nice food in the evening. In winter good for skiing and also hiking.

A magical place, it is where they filmed a couple of fantasy movies for a reason (Narnia for example). The town is quaint, lots of good restaurants for how small it is. Numerous options for activities within walking distance or a short drive regardless of the season.

The skying was not as good as we expected.
The skying was not as good as we expected. We came at the end of season and most of the ski lifts were closed already, but the prices were as high as in high season. They were even not operating whole day, but closing at 13:00. The information on their web pages were not accurate. The message, that they close earlier was only small text on the home page. But on the pages with opened lifts and slopes didnt showed this "detail". We had to travel for skying to Tarvisio, where most of the lifts and slopes were working and they had nice skipass prices. Apart of the downhill skiing, the location of the Kranjska Gora is great - nice nature, mountiains, cross country skiing opportunities...
