One of the best places I've ever stayed in. The host waited for us for quite some time, because we had a delay. However, we were welcomed with great wine and a lovely attitude. The place is simply breathtaking. From the view, which is amazing and it is worthed, to the very nicely decorated location. Whoever worked on the house and chose the decorations knew how to combine the old with the new without making it look tacky.

A beautiful winery stopover on the way to Zagreb. We arrived early, had a nice walk in the wine yards, and had diner there. We tasted the in-house produced/bottled wine and liquor, both were excellent. While chatting with a house worker before leaving, we realized the house sits exactly on the border between Slovenia & Croatia, a token bonus for the stay. The house is the Slovenia side while the front parking & winery on the Croatia side.😊

The area - it's in the middle of vineyards, on a hill. Quiet, peaceful, trees next to the house. Plentiful seating in front of the house with nice view to the valley. A small pub 15 minutes walking (down in the valley).
