The rooms are spotless and spacious, with beautiful balconies overlooking the sea. The pool area and sauna is a fantastic bonus!
A special mention goes to Danijela at the reception—she is truly outstanding! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm smile and helpful attitude. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering great local recommendations and making our stay even more enjoyable. Her hospitality is a rare find and deserves all the praise!
We will definitely be returning to Villa Bellevue Portorož and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Slovenia. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Strunjan is a quiet small resort with a few places to eat and drink. It can get very busy in the summer. There are good walks nearby.
For those who want a lot of facilities, bars etc it is not a good choice.
Out of season is great for those who want peace and relative quiet.

The nice saltpans with a small museum in the middle, both sides of the bay, have hotels for budget guests or one that required a little higher standards. There are many marked paths to hike around or just plain walk. Strunjan bay is not a village but it lies between Izola and Piran. At the beginning of the bay, there is a bus station and mini market and at the end, there are many restaurants and a beach with some trees and grass to give shadow and a place to rest. In nice weather, you will really enjoy it.

Strunjan is one of my favorit sea shore in any season.
Strunjan is one of my favorit sea shore in any season. Picturesque, green and reach meditteranian vegetation, fish and mushels, local vines and olive oil. Town of Piran and Izola are just a walk far. Plenty of local Inn with good food.

Great location, peace and quiet, and professional and friendly service. The hotel is right by the sea and has its own private beach. The small, well-kept hotel garden is a good place for walks. The food was very good, with a large selection.

We really liked the enviroment, closeness of the reservatum and the seaside. Hotel personality is amazing, parking is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for a laid-back, relaxing holiday.
