Very nice historical city centre with UNESCO status During the weekend in winter,there was less people,but the tourist centre was closed most of the time. It was very easy to just walk around the city centre,recommend to travelers to see it.

I stayed at the Hotel Pod Branou ("Hotel Under the Gate"), which was perfect, in my opinion. Reasonably priced, clean and confortable, and their restaurant served an excellent dinner. Unfortunately I only stayed there one night, and so wasn't able to enjoy the city as much as I should have, as I really fell in love with this place. The historic city center and especially the town square is probably one of the prettiest I have seen in all my years of travel. Also, so much interesting and historic stuff very close to the town, like castles and open air museums and wooden churches and all kinds of cool stuff. Will definitely be back.

A beautiful UNESCO heritage small city, with a perfectly preserved 15th-16th century town square. Easy to walk around, Visit the church and museum. English is spotty but everyone was helpful and friendly.

The people of Bardejov are very friendly, kind and make an effort to speak English! You could walk to the Town Square easily, restaurants were close by as well as Tesco( which is like a mini Walmart and had everything.) We were there for our son’s wedding and could not have asked for a better week!!

The hotel is situated on a hilltop with a great view of Bardejov. The grounds are extensive and well cared for - a lovely place to walk around. The staff was most accommodating and hospitable. If you want peace and quiet at the end of a busy day of touring, this is an ideal place.
