The main attraction in Besenova is the water park which is very well equipped and has many amenities. As we were there in September, the main season was over and there were no big crowds and few children, also we received a discounted seniors entry fee of 12.95 Euros. There are several mineral baths of different temperatures, outdoor and indoor, and a somewhat pricey restaurant. There were plenty of recliner chairs, lockers, showers and everything one needs at a spa. Bring your own towels!

It is a small town with a big Aquapark and a thermal pools. There is a lot of rooms for rent. There are few places where you can drink a beer but not so many where you can eat. I can recomend Pizza restaurant in a aquapark surroundings. The town location is quit close to Polish border in surroundings of mountains and a big lake (Liptowska Mara) in Slovakia.

Small resort but fabulous aqua park! 6 Water slides from 20,7 m height which are best choice. Many other attractions around, for winter or summer, Malino Brdo in Ruzomberok, for biking and trakking, Tatralandia, Karting at Monaco Grand Prix race track, many caves are worthing a holiday around.

Bešenova is a small village and with its close approximation to the Chopok ski resort quite convenient place to stay in winter. The way to ski resorts is accessible via close Highway entry towards Liptovsky Mikulaš. It has few small supermarkets and quite nice place to eat - Koliba Bešenovka (excellent food, convenient pricing). There are a lot of accommodation possibilities in Bešenova, but we decided for nearby place called Vlašky (on the other side of a lake/basin) - a small "village" of new houses offering modern, clean and equipped interiors (wi-fi incl.) - even a real fireplace, giving a comfort for 8 to 10 people. The hosts at Ville Vlašky, Jaro and Sasha Kormanak are the real added value for the place, being available for all the information and other challenges we might have addressed to them. Definitely place (for us) to be visited again next year! BTW: close attraction for the kids and adults are thermal water parks around - we decided for Tatralandia and were fully satisified (although a bit (over-)crowded...Friday???). BTW2: there are great local dishes to be eaten and most of all famous liquers and spirits called Tatratea (22-72% of alcohol, for preparation of coctails, tea...). A nice gift to take-away.

From £28 per nightEverything's okay. We arrived late and had no problem to check in or park a car inside private parking. Host was polite and good. The room is situated in the ground floor (or -1 level), but it was clean and dry there. You can use a coffee machine for 0.7 euro per cap. Location is excellent if you want to visit Besenova aqua. There is a fully equipment kitchen where you can cook and then eat in your room. I recommend this place.

If you like spa/water worlds location is perfect as the very famous one in the area is just a few hundred meters away. Also, the position in the region is very good - close to Liptovsky Mikulas/Poprad and close to all the best mountain ranges in Slovakia.

All great … please I forget black pants in room 1011 . Is possible to send them to my sister home : In Czech rep. hotel charge premium rates, but acting like hotel 8 ( cheap hotel) they don’t send me my pants.. they acknowledge they have my pants and that’s all … I spent in hotel 3 000$ And hotel can’t spend 10$ ??? Cheap… and this was my 3th. Visit from USA … I think my last one…
