Hotel Lipa is situated next to the Main Square of Bojnice and 300 metres from Bojnice Castle. It houses a restaurant with a summer terrace and a playing corner with a trampoline. In my 15 years of traveling around various countries, this is one of the best places I have stayed at (and the town of Bojnice must be one of the most underrated I've visited). It's in an old building with a lot of period furniture around, but the room is modern and cosy. They serve a great breakfast (included in the room price), and it's right next to the main square and a few minutes from the castle. It's excellent value for money overall, and elevated even further by the wonderful receptionist who was so kind and helpful all the time. Highly recommended, and I hope to come back here for longer some day.

I loved it in bojnice. It just felt nice! I didn't want to leave. I booked this hotel as it looked very nice and was very close to the castle which interested me along. As it happened the hotel was fabulous and so was the castle. I just couldn't take it all in. There were many bars and cafes in the village and the nearest big town was a few mins by car but I didn't go outside bojnice. There were also places to walk. There were also a few spas nearby

Very nice castle, like in fairy tales. The city is also very clean, very tidy. A lot of restaurants. We visited one of them, with their own beer. Very good ratio quality/price. Also we were travelling with dog, and it was not a problem to find a place to stay or the pet friendly restaurant.

I went to Bojnice to attend my sons friends wedding, they got married in the castle, the parts of the castle I saw were lovely. If you want to tour the castle they only do one tour a day that is in English, I enjoyed the zoo although I missed certain parts. The observation deck was also good and the view from the top is amazing. The restaurants serve lovely food at reasonable prices, Bojnice is very peaceful in the evening and also at night, if you just want to de stress, chill out and relax then I would recommend Bojnice. We had lovely weather as well. The food in the local restaurants was good and reasonably priced one of the restaurants we ate at was called the Square and I think the other one we ate ate was called Bojnicky.

beautiful place nice scenery polite people great places to eat for English people the square plus a couple of others theres a huge zoo a market place is good and the view point you can see for miles above the castle theres a train ride that will take you to the view point and there are caves and museums to keep you interested and the castle is a must.

Romantically beautiful place with fairytale like castle, gorgeous surroundings for relaxing walks, natural hot spring spa as well as ZOO, outdoor lido with a view of the stunning castle and lots to do with kids (day or night visit to a cave, mini golf, live entertaining shows by the castle etc) - highly recommend!

Beautiful little village.
Beautiful little village. Great restaurants and the food was really good. Bojnice castle is the main attraction with the zoo very near it. I recommend this place if you want a nice relaxing holiday.

Outside space is beautifully looked after with little pond, green house and relax outdoor makes your stay even more enjoyable. Big advantage of the pension is its location just on the border of spa town Bojnice and Prievidza. The restaurant is amazingly decorated with terrace surrounded by huge green outdoor area. Food served in restaurant was very tasty and there was huge selection of food and beverages for breakfast. The staff was very helpful.
