Third time I've been to this lovely old walled town.
Third time I've been to this lovely old walled town. Lots of wee Cafes, restaurants, ice cream shops. Town goes to bed quite early so don't expect a cabaret till two in the morning but do expected a peaceful night. You have easy access to a range of day trips to the west the high Tara mountains, to the south the Slovakian Raj (all hidden so google it to see the wonderful gorge walking) and to the east and north forested valleys with wooden churches to explore. Location was very close to Slovenski Raj, which took us around 30 minutes drive. Two things that surprised me and my family were the Sauna and Jacuzzi, which can be found above the restaurant only for residents of the hotel.
