The old town character was charming. The staff were friendly. It was a short walk to the trails that lead to the center. The cable car is just around the corner too, if you don't want to walk.
I would stay again, wife might want to look somewhere else.

Excellent hotel staff, helped us to get a room we are 100% happy with. The room is spacious and comfortable. The restaurant upstairs is the best in town (does require a reservation.)

Everything I was a beautiful original Italian hotel
Located in San Marino, within 14 miles of Rimini Stadium and 15 miles of Rimini Train Station, Hotel Quercia Antica provides accommodations with a bar.
La posizione ottima! Poca distanza a piedi dal centro.
Set in San Marino's pedestrian area, the Bellavista is the only hotel in the city that has a view of Cava dei Balestrieri where local events, medieval re-enactments and archery take place.
Location. Easy to find someplace to eat. Breakfast included.

It's worth a visit especially off season to avoid the crowds. And those crowds can be overwhelming. The population of San Marino is 30,000 and I was told that it gets 3 million visitors a year. So avoid summer and bank holidays.

Fabulously fascinating place, full of history & beautiful buildings. It is very easy to get around & even has a lift to make it even easier for those with mobility issues. The shops are also very good & interesting too - plenty of things you will not find anywhere else & at great prices. Had some of the best food on our entire trip in San Marino.
Highly recommend a visit.

The views from the city walls were spectacular, getting there from Rimini was easy , take the shuttle bus to San Marino it’s far cheaper than a taxi which would cost you 60 euro the bus was only 6 euro each . When you arrive buy a ticket an take the mini train up to where you are staying , it’s really amazing when you get there . Some lovely restaurants and shows going on all through the night , very entertaining and worth every penny

Beautiful place! I’ve got stunning photos!
Plan to stay at least one night, after 6pm the majority of tourists are gone and it’s a lovely atmosphere. The sunsets are breathtaking.
Be prepared for a lot of climbing, but is worth!
If arriving by bus, take the little train-shuttle. I climbed with my small suitcase but would not recommend, especially in a hot day!

Friendly people!!
Friendly people!! I guess coming directly from Germany where people are cold and despotic, San Marino people seamed so sweet and welcoming always greeting me with a smile on their faces and go out of their way to show me which direction to go to find what I was looking for.

Best to stay up in San Marino itself as it is easier to move around once you find a car park. Arriving later in the day can help you find a car park. It is a beautiful clean place with world class views and lovely restaurants. Prices are cheaper due to the lower tax rate in this independent state. Highly recommend visiting. Two nights were enough for us.

A relatively comfortable hotel, typical for the area.
Staff trying to rise to a higher level, but it's hard when they only speak Italian.
Fairly clean, satisfying breakfast, parking options nearby.
A plus for the people met at the reception, both the lady and the gentleman.
Old building with a medieval feel, which we really liked.
Great location. Pretty good value for money - excluding the restaurant.
San Marino remains a unique attraction in its entirety.
we stayed at one night and loved San Marino and the hotel too.
staff was very kind and helpful, we did appreciate the free San Marino card for the local discounts.
great price & value ratio, also SM is way cheaper as Italy from restaurant/bar perspective.
breakfast is delicious with wide selection, check-in/out was quick and easy, bed is comfy, room was quiet to sleep well.
i recommend to use P7 for parking, safe place for your car.
Clean and comfortable hotel, no problem with air conditioning (we were here in the middle of summer).
Girl at reception was very nice and helpful, what's important she speaks English (unlike most of San Marino and Italy).
Tasty and nutritious breakfast, there are not only cakes but also cheese, eggs, bread, rolls etc.
Location quite close to Monte Titano, convenient connection.
Hotel is very central for sightseeing the old city. My room was comfortable and had functioning a/c. The centre of San Marino is very expensive so I found this an excellent value. My room was facing the street but the views on the other side of hotel are amazing. You can see them from the stairwell:)
The hotel is in the center of historic San Marino with incredible views around the landscape. The room had a very nice chalet atmosphere, small but comfy, with quality bedding, a terrace, and a nice little bathroom. The breakfast was also tasty, but the space was a little crowded.
