The Guesthouse is amazing! The most important thing about that place you should know is the stuff, they are super nice and friendly! They can speak English! And always help you with tickets or tours. You can rent motorcycle as well. location is nice. There are a few restaurants near by and 7/11 👍🏼 Our room was big and there were all facilities: air conditioner, fridge, big mirror, shower stuff and a lot of shelfs. Also you are welcomed to eat some toasts with jam, bananas and you can make coffee with milk or tea. I like the cat there, named Latte. And Latte if you read this: I miss you 😍😹

This has to be hands-down the absolute best costumer service experience of my life! The two owners were so incredibly attentive and helped us with everything: storing our luggage when we arrived at 9am in Ao Nang, arranging day tours with great prices, laundry and especially with recommendations where to go - I asked about the landmark night market and told the owner I felt it is too touristy for me so she showed me that there is a local market a 15 min walk away but it was closing soon so I started to hurry and try to go see it but as soon as I left the property she came up behind me on a motorbike and was so incredibly kind to drive me to the market herself so I still make it… the market was amazing btw so I’d really recommend going to see it as well. Also be aware that the Tuktuks charge crazy rates while there is a local bus that you just wave over & ride for 20 bath each no matter how far you go so the location a bit more uphill is 0 problem and for me even more a benefit to be closer to the local area with a lot of Malay breakfast places close by that are really good as well

Everything, starting by the hosts, who are a lovely couple running the place. Any questions about tours, transportation, the room, or anything related to the area, they were always able to assist us and even book for us. Then the loft, I would dare say, was very comfy with AC upstairs and a strong fan downstairs. The bedroom was really big and comfy and I had a nice sleep every night. The bathroom was all good, with a wall between the shower and the toilet, which I now appreciate a lot in southeast Asia. And even though the walls are all exposed concrete, they're really smooth and have nice cooling finish in the hot area. Location wise is great, as we are far away enough from the party, there is a lovely view from the mountains every single morning and it is less than 5 minutes away walking from the main road. The pool is also nice and relaxing to swim in the evening with a great star show. To be honest, it is one of the best places where I get the whole value in money per night.

Super clean, amazing facility and so much value in this place. Stayed in 3 Hotels and the other 2 were more expensive….. Infinity was nicer. It’s a tad cheaper cause it’s not right on the beach. Transit is cheap and everything is close so it doesn’t matter. AO Nang beach isn’t that nice so not worth it to stay on that beach anyways. Don’t think twice just book this place if you can. Beds could be softer but not the hardest we have slept in in Thailand.

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.

    The strip of sand is overlooked by a busy road and shops. Very little shelter from the sun and on-shore winds whip up waves and churn the water to a very unappealing colour. Plenty of bars and places to eat locally - but very few truly "Thai" owned/run. LOTS of Indian restaurants! Ao Nang beach is a beach from which you depart to visit much nicer places!!

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to...

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to access due to my Muay Thai training event. If I return, I will pursue these options. The beach was near countless stores and restaurants. There are plenty of people to meet and things to do. I would revisit if given a second chance.

    It's a perfect outing for holidays, honeymoon or for what ever reasons. Can choose from high end hotels, or budget one. People around are friendly and helpful. Foods hunting are heaven, cheap seafood at night market any restaurants. Don't miss jumpa to island executions that you won't regards it

    The actual beach was not great for swimming.

    The actual beach was not great for swimming. At high tide there was very little sand to walk on and the beach was not flat. Water was not very clear, possibly due to grey skies or longboat activity. So Nang has many hotels and resorts either great pools as an alternative. Ao Nang is a great place to visit the Islands, Emerald Lake, hot springs or go kayaking in the mangroves. It is easy to get tuk tuks, taxis and grab cars and bikes all along the beachfront. There was a great selection of Thai, Italian, Indian and Mexican restaurants and lots of bars with extended happy hours. Make sure you have lots of mozzie spray, especially if you go over to Railay beach and walk over to Diamond Cave. We’d recommend paying for a hotel with buffet breakfast if travelling with teenagers as the food is great and tends to set you up an early dinner time. If you have children I’d recommend Ananta Burin hotel as it has several pools, one with a water slide and pool bar so the young ones and adults are easily entertained.

    We were staying at the lowest cost room with breakfast inclusive package. Facilities were good. Manager Michele is very helpful and prompt. They also have bikes for rent. Location is close to Nopparat thara beach so boat tours can pick up and drop you easily at the hotel. 7-eleven, laundromat, gas station are 2 minutes away. On Wednesdays you can check out the weekly night market at the same location. Hotel is family friendly. Will definitely consider this if we are visiting Krabi again.

    Pakasai Resort is located in a perfect spot just in the "middle" of Krabi beautiful beach area. It is however not directly on the shopping and restaurant street. So this is very good for a pleasant stay. Most of the buildings of the hotel complex are located in the huge garden, which is like a "rain forest". Breakfast was amazing, too: very high standard, wide choice and a beautiful small artificial lake exactly next to the breakfast area! Staff very helpfull, very nice.

    Jungle bungalow 10 minute walk to Main Street and another 10 minutes to the beach. We liked that we were out of the hustle. And enjoyed the walking. Bungalow and resort setting very pretty and would say the best choice for value for money. We stayed for 1 week, wish we had stayed here the rest of our Krabi stay!

    The hotel was perfect, within walking distance to the beach, monkey trail and all the local restaurants. The rooms were cool and spacious and we had the best night sleep in the super comfortable beds. The rooftop bar was amazing to sit and watch the sunset.
