Especially the staff, everyone was so kind to me, I needed to get a shot of vaccine they helped me to find the clinic and even took me there free of charge, thank you for the exceptional service. 🥹The room was super clean and comfy! Just what I needed for my last night in Thailand before the flight. I had a good sleep away from the noise. If you are looking for a hotel in Ao Nang - it is the one. They are located a bit far from the beach but they have shuttle bus running 4 times a day! So it’s not a problem really

Stayed wonderful 6 nights there. Owner and family were really warm people and helpful in sharing information with us. amazingly clean place and our rooms were cleaned daily, bottled water replenished, towels replaced every two days as well. Love that this place is away from the main road and with a nice balcony as well. Walking distance to several muay thai gyms such as over the top and emerald. Amazing value for money lodging!!

The facilities, the comfy bed, the location, the amazing pool and views and most importantly, the owner couple that run this establishment (Laurence and Pat) are top notch. I would happily stay here again and again. I met life long friends here and this place was the catalyst for that as well. On top of all that, Pat is an amazing cook and the whole family running this place are amazing people. 1000 thank yous. You'll be lucky if you can stay here.

Pretty new hotel, a bit far from Ao nang beach but it’s not a problem if you have car or bike. Very comfortable bed, great breakfast, has bathrobes and slippers, beautiful room. I booked honeymoon suite with great cliff view, with bathtub. All in all, great experience. Will come back again.

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.

    The strip of sand is overlooked by a busy road and shops. Very little shelter from the sun and on-shore winds whip up waves and churn the water to a very unappealing colour. Plenty of bars and places to eat locally - but very few truly "Thai" owned/run. LOTS of Indian restaurants! Ao Nang beach is a beach from which you depart to visit much nicer places!!

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to...

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to access due to my Muay Thai training event. If I return, I will pursue these options. The beach was near countless stores and restaurants. There are plenty of people to meet and things to do. I would revisit if given a second chance.

    It's a perfect outing for holidays, honeymoon or for what ever reasons. Can choose from high end hotels, or budget one. People around are friendly and helpful. Foods hunting are heaven, cheap seafood at night market any restaurants. Don't miss jumpa to island executions that you won't regards it

    The actual beach was not great for swimming.

    The actual beach was not great for swimming. At high tide there was very little sand to walk on and the beach was not flat. Water was not very clear, possibly due to grey skies or longboat activity. So Nang has many hotels and resorts either great pools as an alternative. Ao Nang is a great place to visit the Islands, Emerald Lake, hot springs or go kayaking in the mangroves. It is easy to get tuk tuks, taxis and grab cars and bikes all along the beachfront. There was a great selection of Thai, Italian, Indian and Mexican restaurants and lots of bars with extended happy hours. Make sure you have lots of mozzie spray, especially if you go over to Railay beach and walk over to Diamond Cave. We’d recommend paying for a hotel with buffet breakfast if travelling with teenagers as the food is great and tends to set you up an early dinner time. If you have children I’d recommend Ananta Burin hotel as it has several pools, one with a water slide and pool bar so the young ones and adults are easily entertained.

    Highly recommend had an amazing stay at Pakasai. The room was gorgeous bed comfy, big tv in the room great facilities. The staff were very friendly and nice. The food in the hotel was great, really delicious. The hotel is in a great location five minute walk from the night market and the beach where you can do the island tours from. The surroundings of the hotel are gorgeous a must stay when in krabi. 10/10.

    I haven't long come back from a trip to Asia. if I ever visit krabi (which has been the last 3 years), it's this hotel I want to stay in.. the location is great, just a short walk to the beach. the rooms are spacious with the comfiest beds. The staff remember me from my first visit and always welcome me back with a smile.. especially Amporn, the front office manager.. top hotel

    Jungle bungalow 10 minute walk to Main Street and another 10 minutes to the beach. We liked that we were out of the hustle. And enjoyed the walking. Bungalow and resort setting very pretty and would say the best choice for value for money. We stayed for 1 week, wish we had stayed here the rest of our Krabi stay!
