I had lived in Bangkok for > 10 years, and chose Bangna due to it's easy connection to the airport, good facilities and transport links to the city centre. This stay was at the end of a 3 week road trip covering 3000km. Next time I would plan to stay a few more days in Bangna.

Bangna area was disappointing. we chose to stay in Bangna to explor a part of BKK ive never been. But there is nothing in Bangna worth seeing. not an area for tourists. though easy access to Suvunnaphum airport. (30Mins taxi )

Not a tourist area. No rail service near the hotel (yet.) Streets are very quiet and clean. Nice Department stores nearby. Otherwise you need a cab to get anywhere. Airport about 1/2 hour. Shangri-La and Chao Praya about 40 minutes on expressway in quiet times. No ugly tourist traps (you should know what I mean.)

Never bored in Bagna. You can do all the things you usually would do in Bangkok city. If you travel to the city in the evening, don't take the highway. Take Bagna - Trad road and then head right on Sukhumvit rd. It's much closer than you think. Only about 100 baht by metered taxi. Things to do in Bagna: Shopping centers, like Central Bagna and Mega Bagna. RCA Karting is not far. Even the coast is not far at all. About 250 Baht by taxi. There is a big market on Lat Krabang rd. I think it's called Suvarnabhumi market now. Enjoy!

Good area close to the airport. For staying in Bangkok for one night this is a good area as there is a good night market and 2 large shopping complexes. As I said it’s not far from the airport. It’s also not as crazy busy as central Bangkok.

Bagna is a nice suburb of Bangkok. It has useful backstreets with many speed bumps or raised pipes (it was difficult to tell the difference!). These bumps were raised every 25 to 50 meters. The area is on the transit system so access to other areas of Bangkok can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes.
