Staffs were very friendly and helpful. They offer 5 sets of breakfast but I asked for a little extra sometime and they did it for me for free! Room is very clean. The private beach was very nice and quite and you can do kayaking for free. The seating indoor and beach area are available 24 hours too. Since the location was a bit far from the city center, the hotel offer you a bike rental for a cheaper price than from the renting shop as well. Highly recommended for people who prefer calmness than staying in tourist spots.

One of the best mini resorts I have seen in Thailand. Spacious rooms, a huge bed, very nice bathroom. The bungallows are new, the kind you would pay 300-400 USD for on an island. Great garden with a pool and jacuzzi. The French owners are very welcoming and truly understand hospitality. The Thai personnel were also amazing. Will come back.

Thus resort is really nice. Great Air,Bed was awesome, A actual real bed,not 2 put together. This place is like New. Really enjoyed staying out by the pool.. Breakfast was a treet.

I arrived in a Thai beach town late one night, exhausted from weeks of writing, shooting, magazine deadlines hanging over me like a noose. When I stepped into Smile’s lovely spacious room, I was tired and grouchy, complaining there was no window. The elegant woman, Smile’s owner, looked at me as the magician looks at all living beings created by magic. Then, just like that, she flung open a nearby door, opening my line of vision to a sudden row of seaside pastel-colored houses and buildings. Poof! Like magic! If there had been a Camaro parked below, I might have sworn I’d shot back in time to Redondo Beach, in Southern California. My hostess talent’s for shifting the traveler’s perspectives, to open your line of vision, to enlighten you with a new vista, is real. An amazing shellfish dinner she brewed one night made the moon jealous When you think of surfing, Thailand’s not the 1st place popping to mind, but clear waters, the northeast monsoon, soft swells make beaches like nearby Mae Ram Phueng a fine place to launch your surfing safari. There’s a fancy patisserie shop nearby with friendly prices near smile too. For those of us with more relaxed vices, there’s a cannabis store nearby, too, managed by local teenagers u’ll mistake for affable, goofy stars in a Gonzo, 70s hit series. If you like the way surfers move across waves, dropping, climbing, shaping their bodies to water, if you’re on a spiritual journey with a lot of sea, sand, and sky, the Smile Guest House is the place for you.

Clean, very green, swimming pool, bookcrossing shelves, friendly. Owners also recommended traditional medicine specialist, so drank herbs for the whole stay and now feel much better

A lovely stay, the bungalow is large with very good air con and a lovely comfortable bed, with a nice terrace to sit out. The swimming pool was a great addition, very clean and not too much chlorine. It's not huge but big enough to have a swim in. The staff were lovely, I left a bag there whilst going camping and they let you use the pushbike there for free. The local restaurants were nice and cheap, I was fond of this quiet area. Great stay, luxury at a cheap price
