With Ao Tapao Beach reachable in 1.9 km, Klongmad Hostel Kohkood คลองมาดโฮสเทล features accommodation, a restaurant, free bikes, a shared lounge and a terrace. I liked the style of the hostel. However, it was quite run down, especially the bathroom. The location at the pier was nice, because it was not isolated and also many local inhabitants live there. Very close to it, there is also a little pretty beach. On the other hand, staying at that little village/pier meant also that early in the morning all the boats would wake us up.

Located in Ko Kood, 2.6 km from Ao Tapao Beach, Koh Kood Chalet provides air-conditioned rooms and a garden. Providing a terrace, the property is located within 4.7 km of Klong Chao Waterfall. Great place to stay! Nice little bungalows in a beautiful and quiet garden area. Close to a nice beach just down the road. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable with a nice duvet. There is no restaurant here so you’ll need to rent a motorbike, you can rent one from owner. We loved our stay here and will be back again for our next visit to Koh Kood!
