I loved my stay at TropiCoco Beach Resort. The staff across the reception, bar and restaurant are all extremely friendly and well organised. The restaurant has an extensive menu and I particularly loved the salads and seafood. The room was a dream to sleep in and the location is also ideal being so close to the beach, scooter rental and a 7/11 supermarket.

This is a wonderful place. We stayed in the beachfront bungalow which was just incredible. 10 steps to the ocean & the best view. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The bungalow was well equipped, the bed comfortable and the beach stunning. Everything just perfect.

A grower not a show-er. The resort just kept getting better and better. The owner is very warm towards everybody and he personally checks on ALL guests. Would do it again in a heartbeat. P.S. Breakfast was from outer-space.

Beautiful rooms, very clean. Close to haad yao beach which is lovely, and there are a few nice bars/restaurants round there. Can see the ocean from the balcony which is a lovely place to hang out. The taxi driver they recommend (Joe) was very friendly and I organized a few trips around the islands with him.

I definitely recommend this hotel. The area where the hotel is located has the most beautiful beach on the island. Just 3 minutes walking to the beach. The owners of the hotel are excellent people. They take care of you in every aspect. The food is also very delicious. They have a magnificent terrace. I already miss drinking coffee there. The rooms are very clean, with a large balcony. It is very enjoyable to spend time here with the sounds of birds and trees.

    Amazing place on the island.

    Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

    Haad Yao has so many beautiful beaches that have an immense...

    Haad Yao has so many beautiful beaches that have an immense amount of underwater life. Be wary that some of the beaches though are rock / crushed coral based so they can hurt under foot / be slippery navigating. If you can pack reef shoes with you along with your snorkel it would be fantastic. We came to the island for my kids to learn scuba and dive at Sail Rock. We went with Asia Blue and the service was brilliant - they picked us up and dropped us back every day. The instructors and guides were all very patient, informative and have deep passion for the ocean. When we didn’t eat at the resorts restaurant we used delivery KPG as I didn’t have a method of transport we could all fit in safely. Every to ing we got was tasty from burgers, to pizza to Thai. It was delicious! If you plan on walking around just be mindful Koh Phangan is very hilly.

    Very quiet area, only 3 or 4 places to eat or get a drink, the beach is beautiful but too shallow to swim in, nice to sit in though. Most of the hotels / restaurants sell the same food but not grate food apart from the Italian restaurant called loco I think, the food was outstanding and not overly expensive and the staff where brilliant.

    The area is picturesque and at least when we were there...

    The area is picturesque and at least when we were there uncrowded, quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of choices for places to eat and stay. Several restaurants are perched on the hillsides and have spectacular views of the beach and gulf. There is a 7-11, a dive operation, and a motorbike repair shop. A number of businesses were closed due Covid-depressed tourism.

    The hotel is directly on the beach - we chose to stay in a bungalow - ours was closest to the beach and bar which was excellent. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bar/restaurant is very good with kind and friendly staff - fantastic food too! This is a reasonably priced boutique hotel experience.
