Ibis Hua Hin 3 stars

Hotel in Khao Takiab, Hua Hin

Less than 5 minutes' walk from Hua Hin Beach, the pet-friendly Ibis Hua Hin offers modern air-conditioned rooms and an outdoor pool. An international restaurant and bar are available. A very comfortable place to stay in a very convenient location in Hua Hin. All staff were very nice and helpful and specially the staff at the reception. I still remember the very nice and friendly old guard at the entrance. I stayed in two other Ibis hotels in Thailand and this is the best I experienced so far in terms of quality.

Anchan Hotel & Spa 4 stars

Hotel in Hua Hin Night Market, Hua Hin

Conveniently situated in the Hua Hin Night Market of Hua Hin, Anchan Hotel & Spa is within 500 metres of Hua Hin Clock Tower and 600 metres of Hua Hin Fishing Pier. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is clean, mini bar in the room has a fair price, the pool is opened for 24 hours! Also I had oil massage in a private room with a fair price, the atmosphere in spa zone was so good, so relaxing. The hotel is close to the beach, walking street, and night market you can walk to.

OYO 227 Suchaya House 3 stars

Hotel in Hua Hin

Suchaya House is located in Hua Hin, a 10-minute drive from the city centre and the beach. It offers an outdoor pool, free parking, and free WiFi in public areas. The family room on the 4th floor was big and clean. The beds were super comfy and the air conditioner blows very cold. Shower had a nice heater and the bathroom was very clean. Our four kids had a great time in the pool. We had a rental car and there was an overnight security guard watching the lot so wen slept easy. He also reserved an open space for our SUV when we got back from dinner. Don’t mistake his serious demeanor for anything else. Very good cost performance for this place. Staff was friendly and was ready and willing to provide when we asked for extra toilet paper and hangers for our laundry. There are two machines for 40baht each by the pool and we could hang our clothes on the balcony. Asked the nice lady at the front desk for extra hangers and she gave us plenty. There’s a Family Mart convenience store right beside the hotel too. Great for snacks and drinks. They had onigiri! Japanese rice balls :-) The Hua Hin night market is down the same street where they have the best fried mussels I’ve ever tried and the cutest Pugs for petting for tips that I’ve ever seen.

FAQs about hotels in Hua Hin

Maintaining the Warmth

One can get a little nostalgic when talking about the development of Hua Hin. The first beachside resort town in Thailand was originally a small fishing village. It manages to maintain a laid-back atmosphere despite chain hotels invading the best vantage points along Hua Hin Beach.

The current King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej, spends much of his time here in the royal residence of Klai Kangwon Palace, built in 1927. The local Thai population have followed ever since as they escape the stifling heat of Bangkok.

Hin Lek Fai Hill provides the finest outlook of the bay and its 5 km-long stretch of beach. The central Hua Hin Night Market satisfies your wallet and your stomach with its mix of local souvenirs and freshly cooked seafood.

These days there is a distinctive cosmopolitan flair to the city with many restaurants and hotels purveying a European influence. It is also less hectic than Pattaya, the rival beach resort on the other side of the Bay of Thailand.

Hua Hin Airport has flights from Bangkok, and the wooden Thai-style train station is regarded as the prettiest in Thailand. The city has many hotels and resorts for families and couples and Booking.com can also accommodate you at the famous Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas.
