More importantly, the manager herself was very attentive to a special healt-related request, and she was so kind to follow-up the situation at the check-out. It is possible to add more insights on positives, but it can all be summarized in the efficient management style and the well-chosen educated front-desk staff.

Interesting convenient city in Issan. Come here in the dry season. Very nice walks near local lakes. Interesting local food. Good party vibe. Airport and train station easily accessed from city center. Good choice of budget and also high end hotels. Local people tend to be quite noisy. Chinese influence is obvious and adds to the quality of the city.

Khon Kean is not a tourist centric city, but still a nice place to visit never the less. Primarily it is the central hub for services in the region. Everything you might need is there. It might be worth a visit if you want to see Thailand away from the tourist areas. There are some good restaurants and bars around the Pulman and Kosa hotels.

Love the Pullman, always stay there when in Khon Kaen. Breakfast was good as usual, but I missed the evening Buffer, its one of the reasons why I book the Hotel, we would normally use it every night. The bed was hard and not as comfortable as usual, but spoke to reception and they had a mattress topper fitted to the bed which made all the difference.

Khon Kaen is of the larger cities in the poorly rated ISAAN PROVINCES of Thailand's Northeast among the CLEANER ONES TO VISIT. I did appreciate the unique architectural features of the MAIN TEMPLE THERE, which is also offering sprectacular views from the upper (9th floor) level. I have always been amazed at the degree to which even the poorer citizens of Buddhist nations are willing and able to fill the collection boxes inside these temples which are really very effective about promoting their BUSINESS AGENDA. Yet, when looking at the substantive (mythological) contents of either the known monotheistic religions of the WEST, or the more philosophical religions of the EAST, they are all sharing one common and underlying feature: They ALL have ZERO INTELLECTUAL INTEGRITY, and are merely used as social tools, to condition the corresponding believers.....

We had a room overlooking the swimming pool. It was spacious and clean. Very nice bathroom, in particular. Lovely pool which was very enjoyable. This must be the fourth or fifth time we have stayed at this hotel which is highly recommended. Even if you haven't got your own transport a taxi to Central Plaza is just 80 baht.
