Jungle Hill Beach Bungalow is just steps away from the beach. It features an on-site restaurant and cosy bungalows. Free WiFi is offered. Loved our stay at Jungle Hill. We had a one bedroom bungalow and it was exactly what we needed. Clean, spacious, cozy balcony. We enjoyed our evenings there while our son was sleeping. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is great. There are a few stairs to climb but we like a little movement so no stress for us. Surrounded by nature, monkeys came daily. Beautiful! Thank you!
Oon Lee Bungalows provides beachfront accommodation in Ko Jum. This property has a restaurant and a terrace. Both free WiFi and private parking are accessible at the resort. Excellent staff ... nothing too much trouble from the ferry pick up( resorts own long tail boat transfers you from the main ferry off shore straight to the resort) Attention to detail throughout the resort. Very stylish feel about it. Food excellent.... we stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely beaches close by... we walked to Magic beach and enjoyed the clean beach and good for swimming. Thank you Oonn, Valerie and staff...
Koh Jum Resort offers villas and cottages on a private peaceful beach of Koh Jum Island. It boasts an outdoor swimming pool, panoramic ocean views and rooms nestled amongst lush, tropical gardens. Quick read - Beautiful, quiet, secluded, good food, clean, perfect for relaxing away from tourist vibes. All the staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating, very personable. Big thanks to Wut at the front desk for arranging everything with effortless grace and fluidity, and a smile. Weather was perfect during the first week of December. It briefly rained a couple times which was dreamy, umbrellas are provided, and the rest of the time was sunny and warm. Swimming - I read conflicting info about swimming on Koh Jum. This location was perfect for swimming during the day at this time of year (high tide). During low tide, at night, it would be too rocky to swim and the closest surrounding beaches were too rocky for swimming anytime. Accommodating - Arranged for a private car, boat and car to bring us from the airport to the door and again for our departure. While there are public transportation options for lower cost, I highly recommend this absolutely hassle-free option, especially if you have lots of stuff, a family or just a short time like us. After flying and lugging suitcases around it was a relief to be cared for personally like that. They brought us extra pillows and a garlic clove (for herbal cold remedy) upon request. The bar kept playing American music but would change it whenever I asked; I suggest a request for traditional Thai music. The room and bathroom were clean, and we had a nice balcony with ocean view. Bathtub was a bonus! Daily room cleaning was wonderful. We very rarely saw or heard our neighbors. The mini fridge was nicely stocked with snacks, drinks and beers. Kayak was missing a paddle so we rented from next door (to the right down the beach), which had multiple kayaks and paddle boards for 300 bhat an hour. Definitely worth it! Massage - We got massages almost every day from the same two lovely ladies, 400-1300 bhat depending on what you ask for, but upfront with cost ahead of time.
Set in Ko Jum, a few steps from Ting Rai Beach, Kohjum Relax Beach offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Nice small beach with a small resort with bungalows within the trees. Spacious familybungalow with nice balcony and stunning sunset view. The staff is very nice and social, and make very good thai food and it is less expensive than the other 2 restaurants on this beach.
Koh Jum Ocean Beach Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Ko Jum. Everything was exceptional. Restaurant was above exceptional and the waiter staff was just outstanding!. Mrs Mo just can not be commended on enough… she is a winner!! Her tireless work to have made our stay “the best” that we have had, so far, on our 45 day trip through Thailand. The owners of the Koh Jum Ocean Beach Resort really need to appreciate what they have in her talents and the individual attention she gives to all the Resort guest. Mrs Mo deserves an increase in pay, and at the earliest possible date. You do not want to lose her to another Resort !!
160 metres from a quiet sandy beach of Koh Pu, Banyan Bay Villas is surrounded by stunning natural surroundings. It is a truly romantic setting sat in the jungle overlooking the beach. The attention to detail from the staff is second to none. The chef is worthy of Michelin credit. Definitely recommend!
Set in Ko Jum, 2.6 km from Ting Rai Beach, Koh Pu Villa offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. Very friendly staff, very quiet and cozy place. Suitable for people looking for privacy. Nearest town is around 5-7 kms away, accesible my motorbike. Hotel also provides transfer from pier to the villa. Place looks exactly like the picture. Food is good.

These are very specific times. Things are always more expensive on an island and now and there is no season in the sense it used to be, less supplies are available at a higher price. Anyone who travels now needs to understand this. It makes no sense to compare the experiences with how it used to be or should be. I came by the local ferry from Laem Kruat pier, if you miss the boat, you might need to wait anouther 1-2 hours for the ext one. Krabi airport is close, I could easily reach even a morning flight by public transport, leaving at 6am in the morning. This time there was no crowd, hardly any foreigners on the island. There is not much to do, this is a place for those who enjoy simplicity, nature and having a glimpse into how local people live. The island is quite small, you can rent scooters or bicycles to get around, and it is also walkable. Shops have very basic supplies, so you need to take with you anything you might need, also things like simcard of a provider that does have signal there - it is very difficult to get one once you are there. Wifi at the accommodations might not work well or at all.
Simple rustic bungalows, with amazing elevated views over the ocean. The staff are some of the friendliest we have come across and the food served at the resturant was fantastic, we had no need to eat anywhere else, other than to have a change of scenery. The evening entertainment was amazing. We will return for sure and take our friends along too.
The location is fairly remote, but that's what we wanted, so met our expectations. Staff and owner are very friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were excellent. Lovely to swim in the sea, but some areas are rocky.
Quiet, calm, good food, helpful friendly staff, clean and beautiful. It's all you want for an r&r get away! The Koh Jum Resort was perfect for daytime swimming at high tide, which at this time of year (first week of December) was during the day. Definitely too rocky for night swimming, and the surrounding establishments beaches were also too rocky from what I saw. Koh Jum Resort was perfect. The wifi didn't work but it was nice to unplug anyway. There were a couple other restaurant/bars down the right side of the beach that had wifi and good drinks too.
Very beautiful island. No civilization, no crowds, people are very nice and helpful. When we used all our local money and were looking for money exchange one Thai woman gave us her bikes to not walking a couple km without any money or passport. After she gave as delicious herbal tea. She has courses of Thai food- it’s was the best experience!!!! People made this island really nice ! Good- everywhere is very delicious and cheap as funny!!!!
Wrong time of travel, very windy which creates sad to say it but a dirty beach with glass everywhere and random trash. Not a place for an adventure seeking person but more for a couple that just wants to relax.
We did like everything. Found really good offer so paid very nice price pr night. Was totally worth the money. Pool is right in the beach. Staff is super nice and helpful (especially a wonderful lady who is a hotel manager there). Bungalow was very clean, cozy and comfy (if you want to spend time in the room in the daytime, better get bungalow with AC, in the middle of the day, fan won't save you). A lot of walking distance eating options in the beach and Tingrai village. Totally not a party place, super quiet and perfect for relaxing.
Beautiful, clean beach, no crowds. The family who runs the place and very kind and helpful, always there and available. Ja is an amazing cook, she cooks delicious and light, uses a lot of natural herbs and spices. The bungalows are spread in a nicely kept garden, the beach is right in front of the property, only a few steps to waters' edge. Rooms are spacious and basic, however, you have all the basics you need. They are doing a great job, being open even in such challenging times.
Good location within short walking distance to beaches, eatery right opposite hostel, shop like 7/11 where you can pay with the card - just nextdoor. Informative tour desk run by hostel admin who speaks a good english and is just hepful nice person himself. Very affordable transport over the island, lots of oldschool massages on the beaches and so on. Good comfortable bed, large room. Property looks new and this is big plus comparing to many old rusty boxes called bungalows.
The location was amazing, the bungalows spacious and really clean and the staff more than helpful in every single way. Also the bungalows are located quite far from everything what makes them the best place to relax and ‚leave everything behind‘ from your daily life! Also the sunsets at the Rocky Beach, that belongs to the facilities were amazing and in combination with the beach bar unique.
Nice Host! I left one Night earlier and get my Money for this Night back. In 5-8 Minutes walking are nice Restaurants. Also 5-8 Minutes walking and you are on the Beaches. I walked everything, it is not a Marathon, but you can also rent a scooter. The Fridge is great, hot Water, Fan an directly in the nature. I heart monkeys and and and.... Nice basic Bungalow for a good Value.
Very good communication with the hotel even before check in, it's not that easy to get to Koh Jum. Very comfortable appartment. Option to rent a bike, highly recommended even of you do not have experience in this. There is almost no traffic on Koh Jum! Very quiet island. Even of breakfast was not included they 'drop' us some food every morning.
The view from the room was amazing! The staff were really nice and made sure we have everything we needed. We loved the beach - there was shade from the trees most of the day. The resort has a kayak we could use and snorkeling masks we really enjoyed. Everything was clean - the beach in front of the hotel was also cleaned every morning
Very nice bungalows, great location, one of the last islands in Thailand that are not overcrowded. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly. And yes, there are dogs on the property and generally on the island, which is a plus for me, but just FYI if you are not a dog lover.
Secluded location on the north of the island. Most resorts are on the south side, so there is few people. Empty, nearly private beach access. Great service & staff. Fantastic food. We loved it and would come again.
Very beautiful place and we really had relaxed holiday there. The beach was great and calm. There is a free transportation from ferry and back. You can rent a motorbike from hotel. Helpful staff!
Arriving at Koh Jum the ferry stops in open water where it is met by long tail boats dispatched by the hotels that transfers you to the resorts. Transfers are part of the hotel cost.
Very nice host, quiet and peaceful place. Hotel charges you 50 THB for longtail boat from ferry to the island, it is not included. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special.
It was a short ride from the ferry, our bunalow was a good position near the beach. Although a largeish resort it was not noisy. Very clean everywhere.
Place is very peaceful and the garden around bungalows beautiful. Bungalows are so cozy and clean.
Like a lot of Thailand places no money is being spent on upkeep

Her tireless work to have made our stay “the best” that we have had, so far, on our 45 day trip through Thailand. The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The pre-arrangements on transfers and other requests undertaken by the staff of KJBV were prompt and professional. The place is indeed a secret gem where it is not busy, crowded or commercialised yet has all the facilities you need for comfort. Rooms were very comfortable, the living area is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. It has a private beach which we truly enjoyed and the activities offered by KJBV were really fun!
Kwan and Bao who take care of the guests are wonderful. We were so well taken care off and they were extremely friendly. They organized every little trip for us. It was perfect.
It was a beautiful spot and the owner was very kind and helpful
