Koh Jum Ocean Beach Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Ko Jum. Offering a private beach area, the property is located within a few steps of Ting Rai Beach. So glad we found Ocean Beach Resort, we ended up staying for 10 days in the amazing "Boathouse" right on the beach. We had a perfect sea view from the bed and the deck and listened to the sound of the waves. The bungalow was furnished with traditional Thai furniture and carvings, with a very comfortable large bed. It's truly "off the beaten track" and reminded me of Thailand 20 years ago but with better facilities. The beach is beautiful and has stunning sunsets, it's great for swimming apart from at low tide when the reef gets exposed and you need to be careful of the coral with your feet. The sea is very calm, shallow and warm, perfect for children. The beach is very undeveloped and the resort is nessled amongst the trees, under Koh Pu mountain so there is lots of wildlife, we saw: docile monkeys, friendly dogs and a nice cat, flying fish, manta rays, sea eagles, dragon flies, butterflies, sand bubbler crabs and hermit crabs. The restaurant was superb with a good range of authentic traditional Thai food as well as some western dishes. We ate so well that we didn't even consider going elsewhere even though we're normally very adventurous. Mr Khao and his team were very friendly, helpful and attentive and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful and relaxing. We went on a guided hike up Koh Pu mountain with Mr Ann, and also borrowed a sea kayak to explore other beaches along the coast. I'd recommend to stay here to any couple or young family that wants to stay right on the beach and just relax in nature with wonderful hosts and delicious food.

Oonlee bungalows provides beachfront accommodation in Ko Jum. This property has a restaurant and a terrace. Both free WiFi and private parking are accessible at the resort. Extremely classy. Run by a Thai/French family and seemingly presenting the best of both cultures. This is the Thailand I fell in love with decades ago. If you need cannabis dispensaries, banana boats, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, stay away. Leave this secret paradise to us.

Very good and cheap food in the restaurant! nice beach and very friendly staff.

Located in Ko Jum, 200 metres from Ting Rai Beach, Sun Smile Beach Koh Jum provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I loved it here. Wonderful seaview. Wonderful rooms for the price and close to a quiet beach a few restaurants and some reggaebars. My stay was so healing here that I went back a couple of days later (had only booked 3 nights and after that it was fullt booked)and got a more luxurious room with hot water and AC. My first bungalow was higher up on the hill with a fan and cold water. But I believe it was so hot in Thailand for me that you do not really need hot water all the time. I enjoyed sitting at the balcony overlooking the stars and the moon in the evening. I also love the sounds of crickets in the early evening. As some people stated some lizards can show up but the are just so cute. I actually though the first one I saw was a fake one because the hardly move.

160 metres from a quiet sandy beach of Koh Pu, Banyan Bay Villas is surrounded by stunning natural surroundings. It is a truly romantic setting sat in the jungle overlooking the beach. The attention to detail from the staff is second to none. The chef is worthy of Michelin credit. Definitely recommend!

Located on the island in Ko Jum, Koh Jum Beach Villas "A member of Secret Retreats" offers spacious villas with free WiFi. So quiet you could only hear birds all day. Located in Ko Jum, 400 metres from Andaman Beach, Friendly Koh Jum provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, great kitchen on the place. Nice and long beach 5 min far from the place.
Beautiful, quiet beaches. If you wanna really find genuine, cheap price, peaceful island this is your choise! Also great beaches for snorkling but be careful with sea urchins! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and people on the island, there is many reggae bars and good restaurants with delicious Thai food 😛
Koh Jum is a gem and unknown to many. It has not been overdeveloped and maintains a local feel. I fear it will change with the demolition of a number of bungalows at the southern end and talk of a big 5 star resort replacing them. Most people, locals and travellers do not seem happy about this. As many beaches are rocky and unswimmable at low tide, it pays to check carefully for what you want before booking.
The most genuine, friendly, authentic island. My friend and I loved it best of all it is not over touristy. We love Ko Jum and recommend it for anyone wanting to relax, rejeuvenate and enjoy a very authentic experience of island life.
These are very specific times. Things are always more expensive on an island and now and there is no season in the sense it used to be, less supplies are available at a higher price. Anyone who travels now needs to understand this. It makes no sense to compare the experiences with how it used to be or should be. I came by the local ferry from Laem Kruat pier, if you miss the boat, you might need to wait anouther 1-2 hours for the ext one. Krabi airport is close, I could easily reach even a morning flight by public transport, leaving at 6am in the morning. This time there was no crowd, hardly any foreigners on the island. There is not much to do, this is a place for those who enjoy simplicity, nature and having a glimpse into how local people live. The island is quite small, you can rent scooters or bicycles to get around, and it is also walkable. Shops have very basic supplies, so you need to take with you anything you might need, also things like simcard of a provider that does have signal there - it is very difficult to get one once you are there. Wifi at the accommodations might not work well or at all.
Simple rustic bungalows, with amazing elevated views over the ocean. The staff are some of the friendliest we have come across and the food served at the resturant was fantastic, we had no need to eat anywhere else, other than to have a change of scenery. The evening entertainment was amazing. We will return for sure and take our friends along too.
The location is fairly remote, but that's what we wanted, so met our expectations. Staff and owner are very friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were excellent. Lovely to swim in the sea, but some areas are rocky.
This is an amazing place to relax and get away from the crowds. It is on a beautiful beach which is nearly deserted with a cozy little bar and restaurant with very good pizza (the owner also has a Swiss-Italian restaurant in Krabi). I first came to Thailand in 1978 and it reminded me of that much simpler relatively unspoiled time.
Ko Jum
Excellent location, very kids friendly, the staff was very kind and service minded- they made porridge and soft vegatables for our baby upon request. The bungalows overlook the sea and the monkeys play in the trees and on the beach (or on the terrace if you forget food there!) Our little daughter enjoyed everything about it!

I have chosen a bungalow which met my expectations. For a change I wanted to have something like a hotel room, rather that a rustical bungalow. Even though street is next to the bungalow, it was quiet at night as windows have good sound isolation.
Ko Jum
Excellent location directly to the beautiful beach, bungalows are basic but enough. Sunbeds on the beach included in the hotel fee. The Staff makes this place exceptional - they are helpful, nice and friendly. We had a nice and relaxing stay.
Ko Jum
The hotel has beautiful views, peace, greenery, a nice beach and a good swimming pool. Breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner are average and expensive but in a beautiful location on the beach.
Ko Jum
bungalow right on the beach with a big terrace. great when you are traveling with small kids. Great mango lassies in the restaurant. the best resort on this small bay.
Ko Jum
the quiet and special environment, and the lovely hospitality. one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in Thailand
