Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Koh Kood was absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful, very peaceful, and not crowded like other islands. It’s a true gem in the otherwise quite touristy Thailand. The island has retained its charm and natural beauty. The only downside was the presence of many sandflies on the beaches. This is the place that is definitely for people who want a very quiet serene holiday. The people on the island are so friendly. The main, I will say resorts but think of them as little oasis’s’ Are spread over only half of the island, with beautiful beaches so if you’re looking for any type of nightlife (except eating out) this is not the island for you. It’s beautiful and unspoilt. You can only get around with motorbike / scooters and open back vehicles. This is amazing for people that want peace and rest. There is plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee shops for anybody’s taste. Local food is amazing, no need for burgers pizza’s and other fancy food. Smoothies made just from fresh fruits and ice. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Beaches aren’t crowded at all. White fine sand beaches, clear water, amazing!
