The staff is really awesome. The young man working at the bar was phenomenal. Not only did we get some delicious drinks, it was entertaining. Reception staff was incredibly helpful. They set up our ferry and car to Pattaya while we were exploring Koh kood. Very attentive staff. We had an ocean front pool villa and, by far, it was the most amazing view! The bed is very comfortable. The seating area is inviting. Best minibar, nicely restocked every day. Bathroom was gorgeous. Geckos were cool to watch and listen to. Klong Hin is a 5 minute walk, wicked beach to check out!

I love it here! The place is tidy and clean, and in excellent location. Quiet at night, besides the lovely jungle/nature sounds. Bungalow is nive, with seating out front and a hammock which is great! The included breakfast is very enjoyable with fresh fruit and an espresso machine which makes good coffee.

This was the best place we have stayed during our trip. The cottages were well maintained and very clean, and the entire property was absolutely beautiful and serene. Baan Bua has pretty much everything you need and is the perfect home base for staying on Koh Kood - the food at their restaurant is amazing, the included breakfast has many different options, they have motorbike rentals and laundry services, and they will help you figure out boat travel to your next destination. They also had many extra details - including everything you would need for the beach (nice cotton towels, beach bag, beach mat, cover-ups, etc). Everyone working there is kind and helpful. We are at a fancy hotel in Pattaya right now and I can say that staying at Baan Bua would be our preference!

Coconuts are arrival were a nice refreshing touch. Best of both worlds because although you’re not on the beach you are close by and a motorcycle takes you everywhere and then and then back home to your coconut grove. Lit at front reception is very helpful and his English skills are amazing! Fresh espresso and the breakfast is amazing! Central location. My only suggestion is yo allow VISA card payment and it was near perfect! Room was cool on arrival! Perfection!

    Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Keep it safe.

    We already went twice.

    We already went twice. It is my favourite island in Thailand. Easy to reach from Bangkok and very good value! Most beautiful nature and quiet. An adventure to bike around the island. Excellent seafood!

    Koh Kood was absolutely stunning.

    Koh Kood was absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful, very peaceful, and not crowded like other islands. It’s a true gem in the otherwise quite touristy Thailand. The island has retained its charm and natural beauty. The only downside was the presence of many sandflies on the beaches. Their bites can be bothersome, but fortunately, they do not transmit any diseases.

    I really enjoyed riding a scooter around visiting different shops and restaurants on the island. I highly recommend the Ao Yai fisherman village and Noochy seafood and the Good Day Koh Kood for smoothies and mango sticky rice!

    This is the place that is definitely for people who want a very quiet serene holiday. The people on the island are so friendly. The main, I will say resorts but think of them as little oasis’s’ Are spread over only half of the island, with beautiful beaches so if you’re looking for any type of nightlife (except eating out) this is not the island for you. It’s beautiful and unspoilt. You can only get around with motorbike / scooters and open back vehicles. There is no public transport and taxis for us were difficult to get.

    This is amazing for people that want peace and rest.

    This is amazing for people that want peace and rest. There is plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee shops for anybody’s taste. Local food is amazing, no need for burgers pizza’s and other fancy food. Smoothies made just from fresh fruits and ice. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Beaches aren’t crowded at all. White fine sand beaches, clear water, amazing! Mermaid, Chill Out and Black banana are favorite spots for drink and food. Scooter is a necessity. Roads are in okay shape.

Pink kangraroo has a beautiful area among green palm trees and the most beautiful beaches with blue water in all of Thailand close to a kilometer or a few. Wonderful place and atmosphere. Clean and tidy. The owner helps in arranging a scooter, which is a huge plus. Thank you for a nice stay😊

    Loved this place! The family running it are so super friendly and their staff is so friendly and smiley too. You can tell they put a lot of love in this place. The room was the cleanest room we stayed in in Thailand. Its a 5 minute walk from the ferry/boat what was great too. Good scooters to rent! woudl 100% recomend.

    Fantastic couple , beautiful location. Luba is a paradise within a paradise. Stayed in both types of bungalow and both were great. Very welcoming, clean, toiletries including toothbrush and ear buds. Amazing breakfast eggs from the chickens and the freshest salad leaves so far in Thailand.
