Koh Ngai Camping Restaurant @ Bar, hotel in Ko Ngai

Situated in Ko Ngai, a few steps from Koh Ngai Beach, Koh Ngai Camping Restaurant @ Bar offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a bar. The property has sea views.

Location is excellent, right on the beachfront but away from the area where the day trippers visit. Does get cut off by the tide so be prepared to wade- but who needs shoes on the beach anyway :) Good snorkelling directly out from the campsite. Was glad I had paid extra for the tent in front row so that it was directly to the sea. The restaurant has nice food- whole beach is expensive for food so it is a good place to eat. Tent is very clean and comfortable with light, fan and power socket. Plenty of breakfast to keep you going.

Koh Ngai Kaimuk Thong Resort, hotel in Ko Ngai

Facing the beachfront, Koh Ngai Kaimuk Thong Resort offers 3-star accommodation in Ko Ngai and features a garden, private beach area and terrace.

Lovely location, it’s right on the beach and they had lots of cute swings, deck chairs and hammocks for guests to relax in. It was absolute paradise staying on this island. Food was good and breakfast was decent, not a massive selection but it filled you up!

Koh Ngai Paradise Beach, hotel in Ko Ngai

Koh Ngai Paradise Beach features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and restaurant in Ko Ngai.

Great location on a remote beach and very friendly and helpful staff. Hornbills and other birds all over the place. Hundreds of tiny crabs. If you want even more seclusion you can walk or swim to the little wild beach on the right (on map). There are sit-on-tops kayaks which you can use for free and paddle around island, to the main beach, to a couple of wild beaches or to small isles nearby. If you are tired of local restaurant or need to buy some basic stuff (very basic - there are no 7 Eleven and such on island) you can walk to the main beach through jungle. It's half an hour picturesque hike where you can meet giant lizards. Could be very slippery in rain season. Also main beach is pretty, with white sand. Or you can walk to the SW cape of the island from resort.

This is a very quiet island where you come to relax, walk along the beach, and swim. There are no noisy bars, just long lazy days and relaxed nights under the stars. The south end of the beach is the best sand, but you can walk from one end of the beach to the other in only 30 minutes. The sea is deliciously warm! There is another beach called Paradise Beach, if you are bored of relaxing. It is over the hill and through the jubngle for about 20 minutes - but use lots of mosquito repellant!

Beautiful beach location which was still really quiet post COVID. Not many other options on the island for food/drinks but the hotel food was nice, although a bit limited for those in the party not so in to Thai food. Staff were lovely throughout our stay and the whole place had a great vibe that made for a perfect spot to spend a few quiet days off the beaten track. Beach a little rocky in the shallows and weather was a bit mixed during our visit but when the wind dropped the snorkelling along the drop off 50m from the beach was fantastic!

Amazing shallow beach with clear water.

Amazing shallow beach with clear water. A reef that is right off the island. Great views of nearby islands. Easy to rent a boat and visit other islands in the area. Calm waters make it easy to kayak and swim. There are no roads, just the beach. There are only a few hotels and so it limits the number of people on the island. Makes for a relaxing time.

Beautiful beach, great snorkelling just off beach where shelf drops. Few guests lead to peace but not much atmosphere in the evening. Ferry stops but have to transfer into long tail to reach shore. Definitely a lovely 2/3 night stop

Ko N'gai is small and extremely quiet.

Ko N'gai is small and extremely quiet. Perfect to get away from everything. Jungle and sea is some of the best I have seen after 30 years visiting Thailand. Simply beautiful. Thapwarin is the better of all the resorts, but the restaurant needs to be vastly improved.

Ideal for families and couples wanting a quiet beach holiday. It would not suit youngsters looking for nightlife. Good for snorkeling and diving . There were no roads or clear paths for a walk to explore the island. You could walk along the beach and eat in other resorts. Also, a few bars/restaurants.

The room is great, with all wooden floors and walls. Great comfy beds, good aircon. The ocean is crystal clear, with lots of fish to see. Staff is friendly. Food at the restaurant was great. Try the duck! And the prices were unexpectedly cheap for a remote island stay. It's super quiet here. The sunrise is beautiful here from the beach. The boat dropped us off right in front of our hotel. We came in from Koh Lanta old town pier.
