The Cape Bar is very good The beach is good. I was warned of jelly fish but didn't spot any. No diving near by which was my fault for not checking. I would avoid the flight/bus/ferry/ bus/ taxi option Over seven hours and information is very limited.

West part of the beach, where was our hotel, was too much constructed. When the tide is high, you can't walk on the beach (as the hotels are built too close) and can't go from one hotel to another one as they have walls separating each hotels. Meaning you are basically trapped in your hotel and can go somewhere only through vehicle roads. Very impractical beach walks.

Mae Nam was lovely, crazy and busy on the main road but quiet and laid back on beach roads. Has supermarkets, pharmacy's etc.
So easy to get around to other resorts, Fishermans Village, Chewang, Lamai and Nathong. On the main road there's lots of buses songthaws that will stop for you and once you've bargained the price just hop on board, great fun

Very coarse sand with a very steep bank.
Very coarse sand with a very steep bank. It hurts your feet to walk on and it's not comfortable for sunbathing.
On the upside, water is clean and beach is very quiet with very few people and barely any beach bars or clubs.

the location of the property was awful. the approachto the property was innaccessible. steep windy hill , taxi refused to take us all the way to property because of access. transport essential at this property
Most beautiful beach we‘ve seen on Koh Samui, very clean and the private beach access with the availability of a Kayak for free was very comfortable. You have as well plenty of dining, bar and massage options around. Leni as well was all the time really really kind and took care that we have everything we need and even organized a scooter for us and a private driver to bring us back from the hotel. The rooms are really clean with a well working air conditioning and plenty of space. All in all we would stay again without any hesitation.
Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my toddler and I. The restaurant was closed by the time we arrived in the evening so they took us via golf cart down the road for supper and picked us up after we were done.
The hut we stayed in was very comfortable.
Extra perk that the pier for the ferry was a very short 3 minute walk from the resort.
Thank you to the staff at Coco Palm Beach Resort for everything :) looking forward to staying with you in the future!
We were staying at the resort Feb 6-9, on the day of the arrival, we arrived way way too early before the check-in time, Kh Mod, the front desk manager was so kind in accommodating and let us check in early and on the departure date, she also made arrangement to make sure we arrive at the airpport on time. The staff at the restaurant are also very nice in particular thanks to Katarina and Dean. Sure will revisit the resort again.....Woody S, Saratoga, California
I felt so comfortable here. Beach is so near, just a few minutes by walk. Mae Nam is so quiet part of Koh Samui. I was happy there. Hotel is cosy, garden around is beautiful, flowers are fragrant, a pool is colorful at night. I had everything what I need. I ate somewhere arount, not in the hotel. Around is a lot of massages, restaurants, shops, there is a temple near. I hope I am going to come back one day. Thank you, love from the Czech republic.
Excellent property very close to a nice beach!
While the room is actually a canvas tent, it is nicer and more comfortable than most hotels with walls!
Fun experience, nice pools, definitely worthwhile!
I am a repeat customer and the service was excellent, friendly, and very helpful with suggestions of restaurants.
It was Covid time so the whole island is quiet, but the resort gave me a VIP one-on-one experience!
Loving the design of the resort, very unique and beautiful. I like how it's so peaceful, unlike the big hotels. Staffs are very welcoming, especially Nadia(Thai) and Sinto(Burmese). She is very helpful, if you have any doubt about what to do in Samui. She can definitely help you out! Make sure to order some cocktails with Sinto during your stay. He makes good drinks and fun to chat with!
The first 5 star resort on the island, and it shows in that the property is a better piece of land than any of the others we checked out. The privacy, isolation, space, and quiet all eclipse that of resort properties closer to the airport. We stayed 3 nights in the beach-side villas, very nice. Staff and breakfast were high end as one would expect.
The best place on busy Koh Samui: A wonderful oasis with a great location, sunrise views, delicious food, amazingly helpful and sweet staff and so comfortable bungalows! We absolutely loved our stay there again.
The resort was outstanding. The staff could not have done more to make the stay incredible. The breakfast was brilliant and the rooms were a stone's throw from the private hotel beach, which was beautiful.
We had a lovely stay in this hotel. We felt very welcome since our arrival by the very nice staff. Our room was big, clean and well equiped. We definitely recommend this place to stay in Koh Samui!
Arguably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Service and rooms are incredible. Excellent views and great food. Will accommodate well for special occasions. Never have been treated better at a hotel
The villas are excellent: spacious with a private pool and, at the same time, nice views of the jungle and very private. The host is excellent, he can arrange everything for you in Koh Samui.
located in a quieter area of Koh Samui. small property which was very clean. Big comfortable bed. Sabina was an excellent host and attend to all our needs and had great recommendations.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was located at a quiet beach which was not far away from the ferry pier to other islands. The room was quite clean.
it is very close to the fury to koh phangan, which is very comfortable to those who only spend the night in koh samui to move to koh phangan the day after
