I only used Mae Sot as a hub to travel around to several mountain villages in the area. However, Mae Sot itself has something for everybody. The local cuisine is excellent and the people very friendly. I loved eating the readily available barbeque and the abundant locally owned coffee shops. Robison Center was a short eight-minute walk from where we stayed (Picture Book Guesthouse) where there was also a wide assortment of places to eat.Guest review byTerryUnited States - 10.0

Mae Sot is perfect place to meet nature and spend some time with local thais. People are friendly and you can buy water on pretty every corner there. It was really great experience to visit this place and definitely I would visit it again! Best shower we’ve had so far after 3 weeks in Thailand travel around. Incredibly helpful and friendly lady running the resort.
