Railay Phutawan Resort is located along Railay Beach in Krabi, surrounded by green mountains and the beautiful Andaman Sea. This tropical getaway enjoys easy access to the nearby islands. From the amazing pool and bar set up, to the cliff side breakfast, we loved everything.
Railay Great View Resort and Spa is located on the beaches of East Railay, 26 km from Krabi Airport. It features free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and rooms with flat-screen TVs. The hotel area was located in the end of the path so it was very peaceful with 15 minutes walk from the center and it was an awesome place to watch monkeys jumping in the trees. The bungalow was amazing and clean with a beautiful partial sea view in the jungle. You had to climb up the steep hill to get there but fortunately the friendly staff helped us with luggages. Flip-flops, pool towels and beach bag were provided in the room and pool area was very nice. The breakfast was great and diverse. Hotel had a boat service to the center and back at certain times.
Situated on Railay East Beach, this resort offers an outdoor swimming pool. The modern rooms have a private balcony and free WiFi. Amazing location, very close to both beaches. Inside a tropical forest, there was also a big peaceful monitor lizard walking around and monkeys. Rooms are super clean.
Just a 5-minute walk to Phranang Cave beach on the peaceful East Railay Bay, this hotel offers 2 outdoor swimming pools and a fitness centre. You can walk to any beach you want, see monkeys from your room, breakfast was excellent and staff very kind.
Overlooking the Andaman Sea, Railay Hilltop offers Thai-style rooms with cable TV nestled in tropical greenery. The property has a tour desk, restaurant and massage services. Room was lovely, excellent balcony view, AC comfy bed. Breakfast was a superb bonus!

It’s a great location. Excluded but close to lots of places to visit. It feels like you are on an island. Heaps of places to choose from to eat and drink. Plenty of tour operators to choose from and heaps of choices for accomm. Easy to walk around and explore. Easy to just get a long boat to another beach.
Beautiful location, loved the climbing, the beach, the sea, the monkeys, the walking street, activities like kayaking and paddle boarding, friendly relaxed atmosphere. We found one reasonable restaurant, most were very expensive and there's a vegan street stall that we loved. The beach is beautiful sand so not much good for snorkelling. It's a small place so everything is within easy walking distance if you are reasonably fit. Access is via long boat so you need to be able to clamber on and off while bobbing about. There is a pontoon for boats on east railay buy not west. West is more pretty but more expensive and still very easy to get to from east.
Such a beautiful place, the sunsets are amazing, the food/restaurant and bars are all convenient to walk to, the people are so nice, the beaches and water are just so amazing!!! Definitely recommend visiting this place and recommend taking a boat tour too!
Beautiful views, good amount of relaxing, drinking, eating and walking around the area. Stay in West Railay for the best part of the beach. East Railey for backpacking (and cheaper food/drinks/airport transport)
Railay Beach is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. It has many restaurants and bars to offer down the main track and the beach is very clean. We had lovely cocktails and the best chicken kebabs ever! It was very easy to get to Railay Beach by longboat and there are lots of activities to do such as paddle boarding or kayaking.
Amazing staff and very nice too. They need to know more about activities offered at the resort and organize more activities at the resort. Do not go for the elephant trekking. They are mistreating the elephants. Not the resort but the affiliated organization. Phi Phi island trip, white tiger cave temple and rock climbing are a must. The sunset is the best I've seen.

The view from the rooms and from the pool area are sublime. The room really blew us away, the photos don’t do it justice, really spacious and modern with fantastic views from the balcony. The hotel restaurant has great views all around and the food was good. Buffet breakfast. Little shop onsite for drinks, snacks and essentials which was handy. Just a 10-15 minute walk down a path from the hotel that runs parallel to the sea which leads to a strip of bars, restaurants, shops etc and Railay Beach of course.

We booked this hotel last minute and were somewhat hesitant due to the fact it has an overall low review score. However, some of the latest views were high - so we gave it the benefit of the doubt and booked this for two nights. It is a well located, clean and comfy hotel. The food at the restaurant is also good. The views around the hotel are fantastic and it’s only a 5-10 minute walk to the main beaches. If you’re looking for a decent priced hotel on Railay beach then look no further!

Male Staff always smiling and joking, very nice. The view is very nice, you don't regret a couple of stairs for this. Bungalows or wooden houses are really well built, comfortable bed, everything you need in the room: towels, miror, room to let your stuff, a very very nice balcony, shadow thanks to the trees in the morning. The resort offers a very basic but free breakfast, tea/coffee + toasts ham and butter. Kick start your day there, awesome PLACE!! For reasonable price

The location was perfect atop the hill in Railay with stunning mountains views and the grounds of the hotel were super lovely. The restaurant was absolutely superb, one of our best dinners so far in Thailand. And the staff are so super lovely and attentive, very warm and welcoming. The place overall was great value for money. It was much than the place we stayed at the night prior on crowded Krabi and with a more idyllic beach and better amenities. Stay on Railay instead!

Enjoyed the soul of the resort and the people running the place. Rapala was the best that happened during my stay in Railay beach. As a solo traveller it was a great place to relax after battling hordes of tourists on the beach. I Had great chats with the guy who runs the place. Food was good and cheaper than anywhere else. I meant to stay 2 nights and kept extending it to a total of 9!!

Perhaps the best possible location on railey east beach in terms of commuting. But the beach is not as good as it is on west side. I mean its not the sand beach in front of the resort because its on east side. Sand beach is on west side. Staff was super awesome and helpful. Room neat and clean and maintained. Loved it..and will choose again if went there again.

Good location in East Railay. Infinity pool looking over East Beach. Room was very clean. Very close to lots of good, cheap places to eat. Much better to stay and eat in East Beach compared to West Beach

Laid back resort with a refreshing swimming pool, conveniently situated on East Railay - an easy walk from pier, West Railay and Pra Nang Beach.

On the West side of the island which is much calmer than the east side. Small walking street on the next street over.

Nice clean hotel, good choice of breakfast and close to the main street and beaches. Railay beach is rather quiet.
