Steps away from Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, Pen's Bungalow Koh Phangan offers simple but cosy rooms with private balconies. It houses a restaurant and provides free WiFi in the public areas. The food was great, the beach is clean and perfectly white Sandy for swimming, the pool looked out into the ocean and the bar was close by! Absolute best spot to wind down from an adventure!

Beautiful hidden gem with private plunge pools, hosts are really hospitable, area is just a little quiet with not many restaurants, you need a motorbike or car to get the most out of your stay, but amazing value for money, would 100% stay again.

Julanee, as expected from many previous reviews, is a perfect host - discreet but immensely helpful whenever she senses her guests may have a question or need. Baan View Talay’s location, setting, furnishing, maintenance, and overall atmosphere are all excellent.

Thong Nai Pan Beach Residence offers cosy accommodation in the heart of Thong Nai Phan Yai Beach on the Koh Phangan. I loved the location of this place. It is right on the beach, the sea view rooms (there are only 3 and I was lucky to get one) have a patio with a hammock, a lounge and a couple of chairs- a perfect place to sit and read and just enjoy the view. There is a restaurant next door which delivers food if you are too lazy to move from the patio. Andreas, the host, is great at giving recommendations around town. The room is also cleaned every morning which is an added bonus!

Nice Beach Resort Koh Pha-ngan is situated on Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach. Offering either fan or air-conditioning bungalows, the property features a tour desk, laundry and shuttle service. Price was extremely fair, staff was incredible they actually held our bags for two days while we went to Koh Tao. Everything was clean, organized, and comfortable. It’s beachfront, the beachfront rooms are great and the pool is very refreshing. Will stay again!

The family atmosphere at Pen's Bungalow's and Tong Nai Pan in general is priceless and getting harder to find any where in the world. The variety of good to great places to eat and a few laid back beach bars makes for a perfect beach setting. Walking the beach on your way to nowhere in particular is in itself a wonderful experience at Tong Nai Pan Yai.

Lovely hotel room just off the beach.
Lovely hotel room just off the beach. Loads of bars/ restaurants nearby. The lady at reception was incredibly helpful and friendly, we were very grateful for all her assistance. Would recommend hiring a car if you want to get around the island, and if you do make sure to visit the waterfalls - even though they had dried when we visited we had a great hike.

Do yourself a favour when you get here....stay! The day trippers really miss out. The evenings are gorgeous, the staff at every restaurant we went to were so friendly and genuinely wanted us to get the most out of our time there.

One of the most remote beaches from Thong Sala therefore...
One of the most remote beaches from Thong Sala therefore very quiet and peaceful. It's less fancy then the northern Thong Nai Pan Noi therefore it's less crowded which I see as an advantage when looking for a nice tropical retreat. Visited it both in high and low season, during Fool Moon Party and without it and it's always serene and beautiful. The beach itself is covered with fine white sand which makes water a fantastic turquoise. Ideal for swimming even with the low tide and suitable for families with kids as almost no waves and very little boats. There are several nice spots for dining on the beach itself and a small food court with delicious local food and night BBQ at the village just 5 minutes up from the beach. You'll have the best of your stay here if you hire a motorbike thus stay mobile and easily explore the island and at the same time enjoy your stay at a secluded lonely tropical paradise.

This place is surrounded by lush vegetation and has a beautiful clean beach and sea. It’s quiet but there are facilities such as shops, ATMs, restaurants on the beach and in the village. You can hire a scooter if you want to explore the island and find the Full Moon parties. But it’s mainly for couples and families who want to get away from it all and relax in a beautiful setting and watch the world go by. A real place to chill out.

From £109 per nightNear the beach, so you don't have to put even flip-flops on to go to the beach. Very clean and spacious room. terrace is large enough. Before entering bungalow you have small shower for leg's, so you don't bring sand to the room. we had 2row bungalow, there were one extra shower outside. Close enough to the beach, so wind is strong enough to blow away mosquitos. Bungalows are situated chess way and surrounded by livefence so it feels very private.

Pen's Bungalow is run very casually. We stayed in the more budget rooms and then rooms were pretty standard. If you want your room cleaned you need to give notice and leave your key at reception. The restaurant on the beach was good and the pool area lovely. We enjoyed our stay here. Nice and quiet. The hotel did help to arrange a taxi into the party areas
