"Family" room on the beach had super nice beach view, strong aircon and WiFi, came with mat (appreciated) and broom and other essentials. We were there for about 20 hours starting about 4pm and didn't hear ANY music or other sounds, just lovely ocean waves (and occasional bark from many dogs that live on the beach). Contrast that with the northern Thong Nai Pan beach, which unfortunately has annoying loud live and recorded music. Soft white sand beach.
Thong Nai Pan Beach Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Thong Nai Pan Yai.

The resort is located at an isolated side of the island which is 40 minutes from the port and the side of the island where the restaurants are located. Highly recommend to rent a bike at the rental shops near the port if you choose to stay at this property. Check out budget 2 or the car rental relax travel next to it which are located 5 minutes walk from the port for bike rental. The cottages are basic and right on the beach. There is a nice sitting area outside each cottage which is shaded but the beach does not have any shade, no beach beds or even chairs to sit. Did not try the resort restaurant. The restaurants near the resort and this side of the island not serve good food and there is no 7 eleven nearby. So food can be an issue and options are mostly limited to eating at the resort restaurant or the adjacent resorts restaurants which can be a bit more pricy... There are 2 shops about 300 meters from the resort and near the start of the town where most basics including alcohol can be purchased. Getting to the resort requires to ride up the mountain which separates this beach and resort from the other side of the island which is a nice ride. It's a 50 minute ride to the full moon party and easily access able by bike.
Located along the peaceful end of Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, Havana offers value for money accommodations with a balcony and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel is nice and the rooms were above and beyond our expectations. The hotel restaurant is yummy but they overcharge sometimes.
I do have to say that It’s far from anything central meaning we had to pay over 1000 baht (25-30$) each way to move which is not nice.

This place should be named Perfect Beach Resort rather than Nice. The rooms are specious and well decorated, the staff and service are kind and helpful and the food is great. We loved our time on the most beautiful beach, rented a SUP board and took late afternoon swims during sunset.
Will definitely be back, thank you Bao and team!

Thong Nai Pan Yai s at least a 45 min drive from the mainland of the Island, so if you want to be in the middle of all the action this location would not suite you, however it has its own local town with restaurants and shops as well as beach access, hikes are close by along with beautiful viewpoints.

One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen.
One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The beach has white sand and the water has a smooth entry to get deeper - very good for younger kids. We could recommend the Restaurant on Longtail Beach Resort for Families with children. The restaurant is direct on the beach, very romantic and just some meters away there is a natural playing ground with Swings and climb possibilities. Perfect to have couple time even your own children are around.

I arrived with my son for a few days: the beach is still quiet and secluded and this offers a bit of what Thailand was years ago. The beach was beautiful and waters just right though the wash up from ocean requires human care (humans litter humans clean).
Walking up to the right side of the beach there is a walk way up the mountain - we found 2c up there amazed at the views and found our new best friend up the mountain.
Best coffee just outside pens! Best to eat in the small Thai places and! The Living Room for a break with beautiful Stefan’s and his wife Italian chefs.
All locals gorgeous.

The resort food is good, but the lovely long beach has a range of restaurants enabling you to choose somewhere different each evening - a stroll down the beach away. The village (within easy walking distance from the resort) has many local restaurants that offer cheap, tasty food. Great fruit shakes at every spot.

This was our favourite hotel of the four we stayed at during our recent holiday to Koh Phanang and Koh Samui. Beautiful beachfront location, excellent value for money (this was the cheapest hotel we stayed in). Our room the family seafront bungalow was right on the beach and had privacy glass windows so we could lie in bed an admire the view without anyone looking in. We took hotels private transfer from pier for 600 baht which is the same price as a local taxi so would recommend doing this.
The shower pressure was fine. The only thing there is no separation between shower and toilet. This is quite normal in Thailand and was the case in the most expensive 4 star hotel we stayed in on this trip - just so you are aware.
Far nicer to take the easy trip over here on the 30 minute speedboat ride than stay on Koh Samui if you want to experience the real Thailand.

It is a beautiful beach with soft clean sand, perfect swimming (the right depth and sandy bottom), kayaks and paddle boards for rent, and beautiful views of surrounding mountains. The beach is not too crowded, and it is long enough to explore different restaurants and bars along the beach. We loved it.

A lovely hotel for a relaxed vacation in Koh-Phangan. Hotel staff is professional, kind and always happy to help. During our stay, the weather wasn't great, therefore some of our plans were cancelled. Luckily, the hotel staff suggested us with alternatives, which were great and at a good price. Rooms are comfy and clean. Hotel resterant is satisfing and breakfast is really nice. We defiantly felt in good hands during our stay and highly recommend this hotel.
The beach is beautiful and the bungalows are in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay at the family bungalow. There are beautiful beach bars and restaurants along the beach and the hotel's own restaurant is also great.
