• Clean, neat and tidy property. • The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful specially Ehsen who went beyond our expectation and he gave us a lot of suggestion about Djerba. • The room was clean and wide. • We really like the jacuzzi inside the bathroom. • The breakfast was very good. • The restaurant has an amazing pool view. •The swimming pool was amazing. •You need to have a car for transportation.

Barbara and Nicolas have been very humble and cheerful since we arrived they showed great smiles and welcomed us as if we are part of their family, from bringing croissants the day after and making sure that we have everything setup, the house is pretty much as in the pictures and has a good location, to conclude this was one of the best experiences I had so far in booking.com, I'm coming back next year for sure.

Where do I begin? Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. We had a truly wonderful stay at this property. The garden is stunning, filled with beautiful palm trees and offering a tranquil atmosphere that made us feel completely relaxed. It’s the perfect spot for a calm and peaceful vacation with the family. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast served each morning – fresh, flavorful, and a lovely way to start the day. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed for a week. Sidi Mehrez is the beach we were at.

We stayed for a week. Sidi Mehrez is the beach we were at. Clean water, white sandy beach. It is slightly spoilt by people trying to get you ride a camel or have a horse ride. Tunisian food is great everywhere. We tried Essofra in Houmet El Souk. ChouChou in Midoun. Also had street food in a stall around Mosque Sidi Ibrahim. Le Foundok was great for an afternoon tea and a calm surrounding. Pavillion is good if you are after a Shisha. Easy to get a taxi everywhere

People make holidays, and the staff exceeded expectations. I do not tend to take telephone numbers when travelling, certainly not from staff. However, I have taken 3 staff members to keep in touch with. It was out of season, but the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Most of the time, we were the only people staying at the hotel, but we received a full hotel service. It is a shame other travellers do not come to Djerba out of season. The weather is OK and the island is good to explore.

Beautiful big clean rooms. The hotel is well maintained. Plenty of duvets for winter months. Staff all really helpful and friendly. It's right on the main road so easy to get a taxi or walk to the beach.
