It offers rooms with views of the sea or the outdoor swimming pools and garden. we went in the winter so the place was so quiet, we loved it, there was only couple of other guests so it felt like we had the whole place for ourselves. I really liked that I could literally walk to the beach from my room, it was on our doorstep.

Travelers who stayed in Monastir near Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport (MIR) have said good things about Iberostar Selection Kuriat Palace, Marina Cap Monastir- Appart'Hôtel, and Hotel Paris.
To much garbage everywhere. We traveled al ost entire Tunisia with motorcycle, all country is full of garbage. If we add that all local sellers want to take you as much as possible for anything than we actually described all bad things. Same is in Monastir...so if those two things are not problem for you you will have great time in Monastir and all arround Tunisia
A terrible experience for me and my family. very dirty rooms (i requested room change twice), no A/C, no internet in room or even floor other than lobby (very poor signal in lobby), no tv remote all rooms and only 6 Tunisian channels, no iron, no parking inside hotel except for about 12 to 16 cars, phone present but doesn't work, no consistent hot water, broken faucet, clogged sink and Beth tub, broken door luck that can be opened even after locking without key, housekeeping ladies very unprofessional and seems being hired with absolutely no training, they refused to change towels until I showed my frustration to the receptionist, very loud DJ in the pool almost all day, dangerous play in the pool (water polo and volleyball for adults around very you kids), pool closes at 6 and beach long chairs are taken away at 6 pm. bedding reminds me of the boys scout beds and worse. The food was The Only thing good but very dirty kitchen and dinning area. I traveled from the US to this hotel and wasted my vacation, my money and my family happiness at this place. Think 10 times before you book. Sincerely. Samir B.
Nice city center with beautiful historical details. Friendly people, especially to kids. Good connection to other city (like Sousse, 30 minutes) by metro or shared taxi. Close to airport yet peacefull. Nice dinner in the marina.
Monastir has to be the most beautiful place in Tunisia. It has a beautiful sea front with a really lovely Marina and Medina (shopping centre) all in very easy walking distance. There are cafes offering delicious pizzas and many other light meals for extremely reasonable prices. The transport is also very reasonable, with so many taxis and mini bus, nine seaters available to take you for over fifty miles for under £3,unbelievable. Lovely, interesting shops to see offering many souvenirs, great footware and the smell of the rich spices as you shop.A wonderful experience. Mostly, the locals are friendly and welcome you to Tunisia, lovely, warm hearted people. The only thing that lets it down is the amount of rubbish everywhere.
End of march beginning of April weather was fairly nice. The traditional cuisine in alsharga/alshraaga restaurant in the Medina is fantastic. Fortunately, there are some mixed cafés. It is not a busy city so you get to enjoy the walk.
The city needs more attention to be a bit cleaner for its streets Marina is a tourist resort so, its cleaner than the city its self. They should give more attention to the Centre of the city which is considered an ancient city.
Very good location on the marina near all the restaurants. Clean and warm apartments. Check in process easy.
