Ankara is not the most beautiful city of Türkiye, but I kind of like it. Good vibe, good bars, good restaurant. Very nice city to work, an okay city to go around. Only the Airport is shit, so go by (highspeed) train from Istanbul. 4h from centre to centre. much better than the bathroom airport and endless traffic jam. The safety was excellent while walking around the streets of Ankara. I have visited a very few attractive places for tourists; I would like to mention that there is a great possibility to eat healthy food in most restaurants and cafes; people are great; Hamamonu street is superb, also on kizilay district (the city center) you can enjoy well! You can use your master card while using bus and metro stations, it was really comfortable and there is no need to take local ticket transport cards; Tunali Hilmi Caddesi is worth to have a look; Also Ramada shopping areas and it's sub-around cafes are great!
