We had the most amazing 3-day stay at Mira Capadocia, and I can't recommend it enough, especially for families! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel is super family-friendly. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and the owner is genuinely one of the kindest and most welcoming people we've met on our travels. One of the things we loved most about Mira Capadocia is its location. It’s nestled away from the busy tourist crowds of Göreme, which means you can truly relax and soak in the beauty of the region without the noise or rush. The hotel is just a short walk from the Kızılırmak River, where we enjoyed peaceful walks every evening. The area also has some great local food options which are authentic, delicious, and not overpriced. Do book a session at the Avanos Pottery Workshop. The breakfast each morning was simply exceptional, a generous spread of fresh, locally sourced items served with a smile. We especially enjoyed starting our day on the terrace, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. If you're visiting Cappadocia and want a place that combines comfort, genuine hospitality, and a bit of tranquility, Mira Capadocia is the perfect choice.

My stay at Almula Cave was fantastic. Mr. Ahmed and Mr. Mahir were friendly and attentive, the facilities were spotless, and my room was comfortable and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of delicious options. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to downtown. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

We came here for our anniversary and loved it! Loved our room with the Turkish bath. Our room was super clean, quiet with little touches like bathroom shoes and extra blankets. The bed was so comfortable, we just wanted to lounge around in it. The owner is amazing! Her breakfasts were the best we’ve had in Turkey with home made pastries, jams, etc. She is a wonderful host who puts a lot of care into her lodging. She even lent me a coat for the balloon ride and reserved a table at a nice restaurant for us. It was the best stay we could ever hope for.

Good value, near some shops and a bus station to Goreme and other places. Though I may say some facilities in the room look old and may need renovation or fixing but the receptionist/owner was very helpful and accommodating. He helped us on the tours or places we wanted to go during our stay. They serve free breakfast as well.

    It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

    The town is very beautiful and traditional. Most people speak very little English and most restaurants do not have menus in English. I personally love this and it was so nice to stay here for a few days and experience authentic Turkish culture. There is a beautiful river and an old town that comes alive at nighttime. It’s so much less touristy than Goreme and I would recommend for people wanting to avoid the crowds. So many pottery’s around and beautiful handmade items. I would have liked to explore the area more but it was a 40° heatwave so hiking was off the list.

Perfect ambiance gives you a homely feeling away from home and our host Nazlim who owns the property was extremely helpful and always available to help with ideas of exploring the city to arranging cabs with reasonable prices you will not just fall in love with the city but with this place too, away from hectic life and daily hustle to experience the serenity Adonos Konuk is your place. Come and rejuvenate your soul. Dear Nazlim if you are reading this will see you soon!!

    Prob not as busy or touristy as the other options in Kapadocia. but still easy to get to the other towns to see all the historic sites etc. beautiful river flowing thru the middle of town, with all these lovely geese, ducks, water birds. lovely to stroll around - up little pathways, hidden coffee shops, Pottery shops and restos and quick food places - depending on your budget. I cannot wait to get back here. we stayed 3 days, need at least a week.

    Avanos is perfectly located for exploring many of Cappadacia's most spectacular sites, and feels like an authentic town instead of tourist trap. We spent 4 nights there and 3 full days exploring by car, and these are some of our favorite places (all reachable within 15-20min drive): 1/Zelve Open Air Museum, 2/ Pasabag Valley, 3/ Love Valley, 4/ Ortahisar Castle, 5/Uchisar Castle... Boutique hotels, like Haci Asik Konagi, are wonderful places and well worth the money. The new BigShefs restaurant on the river was our favorite place for dinner. Avanos also is the place where you find the Chez Galip pottery store/workshop. Cappadocia is famous for its pottery, but what we saw at Chez Galip is in a class of its own. (Another such store is Yastik’s in Goreme, where we found unique pillow cushions from authentic vintage materials).

    Avanos is super close by to all the highlights of Capadoccia, the city at the edge of the mountains is guarded by Turkey's longest river and is an amazing option to stay at while exploring the landscapes and hitching a ride on one of the hot air balloons!

    Naz, the host. She is exceptional. Of all places we stayed in Cappadocia, this was by far our favourite stay! The room with a sitting area was so nice, clean and comfortable. There is also a small kitchen which is very handy. The location. Avanos was one of our favourite town. This is where you can find a bit of green, which is refreshing. The place is very close to the center and has a playground next to it. I totally recommend this place!!!

    There was no booking ! The hotel told us u were sending customers without checking with them if they had rooms available! How do we reach out to you if you have no instant help line? And how will you compensate us for the stress we went thru? Luckily the hotel owner was nice and helped us to stay in some place but we had to pay double the price! Who will bear this loss ? I am a loyal customer with you since long with all my bookings thru you.

    We chose Avanos to stay away from the mainstream touristic hotspots and we deliberately chose a boutique hotel to enjoy the liberty and uniqueness that comes with it. We stayed for five nights to tour Cappadocia. This hotel was beyond our expectations. Clean, cozy, cultured. The family is super lovely.
