My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a remarkable hotel in the heart of the old Odunpazari area. We found ourselves surrounded by the rich history and cultural heritage of the area, with easy access to its attractions. The convenience of on-site parking made our arrival and departure hassle-free, especially for those traveling by car. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service provided by the hotel staff. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Their genuine warmth and willingness to assist with any request made us feel valued as guests. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was taken care of, providing us with recommendations, directions, and personalized attention. In conclusion, our stay at this hotel was a perfect getaway. The spacious and clean rooms, coupled with the hotel's fantastic location in the old Odunpazari area, created a truly memorable experience. We used this hotel as a transit stop but it was well above our expectations. The hotel is amazing, the staff was very helpful with the parking. The rooms were clean, bathroom and shower in amazing working condition. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well. The fridge worked well as well.

    Eskisehir cam be called the Venice of Turkey. Beautiful canals with Gondolas, cafes and meyhanes along the banks, gorgeous romantic bridges....very charming. Eskisehir can also boast a spectacular old quarter, called the Odunpazari, with its antique atmosphere, world class museum of modern art, and its open air market. Transport is easy and efficient with its excellent tramway system. The new High Speed Railway makes it easy to get to from Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara, as well as other places..Folk in Eskisehir are relaxed, helpful, friendly, and know that they are lucky! Good vibes.

    Odunpazarı district is full of ottoman era houses and have unique and calm atmosphere. Restaurants serve some delicious Crimean Tatar dishes (for example mantı - typical example for all cuisines of Turkic nations). I only wished I stayed more to have more time to climb the hill south of Odunpazarı - panoramic views must be magnificent.

    Big town with lots of activities yet with not have many historical places like Istanbul, visit it for a real local Turkish experience. It has malls and local shops and bazaars. Also, the local food places are lovely. Natural parks are all around the town. Last but not least the unique vienece-like experience of taking the boat tour in the city's water canals.

    Eskisehir has a very important place in Turkish War of Independence. Many decisions were taken here and battles were fought. For us Turks, it has a very special place. However, thanks to the Mayor Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Buyukersen, the town has transformed into something truly amazing. You can't help but notice the respect shown to trees and parks which is overwhelmingly beautiful. Maybe even unique in the country. Being home to 3 established universities, students make up a large proportion of the town's populace. It is especially good to see so many young people around. The locals are calm & friendly and they do not litter, which is amazing on its own. There are many interesting museums to visit, and old renovated houses which house artists ateliers etc. Go there, you will like it

    I thoroughly enjoyed exploring various parts of Eskisehir, but if I were to pick favorites, Porsuk River's riverside promenade offered a serene escape, and the vibrant local markets added a touch of authenticity to my experience. During my stay, I had the pleasure of dining at a few local eateries that left a positive impression. One memorable meal was at a traditional Turkish restaurant near the city center, where I savored delicious kebabs and mezze. Yes, getting around Eskisehir was relatively convenient. The city's well-connected tram system made navigating the urban area hassle-free, and walking was a pleasant option for exploring nearby attractions. Taxis were also readily available for longer distances.

    It's totally default Ibis in a good way. What's nice about Ibis is that you know exactly what you're going to get, no matter where you are. What to say, the room is clean, the bed is moderately comfortable, there is a hot shower, nice view from the window, TV, kettle. Very business-like atmosphere inside the room, I think this hotel is more suitable for business and work. One very nice feature is the couch by the window.
