Loved the location of the hotel and walking easily to restaurants. This hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. I walked a short distance to catch good views of the balloons. Easy Parking was out front of the hotel on a street.

One of the most unique, exceptional places I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve traveled to almost 30 countries, and Ages of Cappadocia quickly became one of my favorite hotels. Our room was clean, beautiful and interesting (staying in a cave, hello!) and super comfortable. We woke up at sunrise to watch the hot air balloons in the valley… a view I will spend the rest of my life dreaming about. The rooftop had tables & seating set up to enjoy, and we spent most of our time out there relaxing & taking in the view, cuddling their sweet puppy Cinnamon. The breakfast was incredible too - so healthy, authentic and satisfying. The staff at the hotel was great - so friendly & helpful with whatever we needed. Before arrival they arranged airport transfer for us, and we communicated on WhatsApp for anything we needed. They also had lots of tours & activities available for us to book & making sure we were having fun. The town of Usichar is more quiet than nearby Goreme, but we preferred it that way. Goreme was only a €7 taxi ride away, but far more touristy so we really only spent a couple hours there just to browse the gift shops. The area around the hotel had a lot of amazing coffee shops and authentic restaurants within walking distance! Thank you for such a memorable & incredible experience. Cannot wait to hopefully come back one day!

The hotel is in walking distance to the famous castel, we went there by sunset and it was breathtaking. Location is only few minutes to the center of gorome. Mehmet and his colleagues took a good care of us. Even though the hotel is just a few weeks opening. They are doing a great job! Since I’ve been in hospitality business for over 10 years, familiar with 5 star hotels. I would say that this hotel provide services as if they are 5 star. From check in to our departure date. I would like to thanks Mehmet and his team again for our great stay. If anyone wants to stay here, Mehmet will help you, he can give you the best advice on red tour, green tour, balloon etc. Our stayed was beyond my expectations from the price! 🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Located in the top center of Uchisar, everything is near - supermarkets, restaurants, coffeeshop - everything is nearby. Amazing viewpoints are just minutes walk from the hotel. Delightful breakfast, comfortable rooms. Communication with hotel prior to arrival was easy and they were quite flexible, allowed us to store 2 mountain bikes in the yard. Everything was great!

    Beautiful and quiet place. Less busy and less expensive than Georme. Locations near Uçhisar castle is very lively but rule is same. closer your stay to main hub costly and busier it gets.     We didn't spend much time here, but easy flight from Istanbul. Convenient for the balloon rides, but not directly in the town they fly from. A preferable location if you want a little more peace and quiet, and enough choices for dining. Lovely to walk around and spectacular views from many parts.

    Uchisar provides great access to all the sights of Cappadocia. Our stay at La Casa offered the perfect mix of cave/building and was in a great location. The breakfast was excellent. The close by Janti Cafe is also excellent, highly recommend. One thing to note is that google gets a bit confused with the one way streets, but once you get the hang of navigating in Uchisar, it is very easy to get around and you can see the castle from many of the nearby hiking areas.

    It worked great for us.

    It worked great for us. We had a rental and wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the busier Goreme. If you don't have a car and are staying in Cappadocia for the first time, perhaps Uchisar is not the best option since it will limit your walking distance options of restaurants, shops and tour agencies, we loved it though and found it to be the perfect homebase to explore the region. It seems like some of the more exclusive hotels and restaurants are also in Uchisar so it depends on what works best for you.

    Small town area next to the rock castle.

    Small town area next to the rock castle. Quiet, with lots of restaurants. The top of the mountain has more shops and art galleries to see along with cafes. Once you step out of the area it is mostly desolated and filled with caves. There is lots of new construction going on in the peripheral area. We ate at the statehouse around our hotel and it was great. A bit expensive but gourmet like treatment. The open air museum is only 10 min away and the castle is right in the center of Uchisar.     We visited cappadocia by car. Amazing hotel for selfies. Interesting experience with room in stone cave. Amazing breakfast. One of the best I ever had! Room look nice like in the photos. The view are great with the baloons in the morning. Definitely worth it. Staff was nice They have 2-3 parking slot in total in front of hotels. Some camels go down the street every morning and come back in the evening. Nice to watch.

    Everyone at Mak's was so polite and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were good. The breakfast was great and so was the customer service. The cave is around 10 min from Goreme, the central city but we took a taxi and it was a 13 euros round trip, not bad! They helped us book the activities, hotel transfers, and taxis. Communication was awesome! If I go back to Cappadocia I will stay here again.

    Great atmosphere, we felt really welcomed in this small, boutique hotel. Amazing terrace, cave room with jacuzzi is amazing. Local, big breakfast on a terrace was delicious. Location couldn't be better - definitely recommend staying in Uchisar instead of Goreme, it is calmer and smaller and still close to all attractions you want to see, especially if you have a car.

    This is the most beautiful and tastefully designed cave hotel in Cappadocia. You can book with confidence — it’s right next to the scenic area. The breakfast is simply perfect. Just make sure not to book a room without windows — always choose a room with windows. The windowless ones can feel damp and stuffy. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

    Absolutely incredible location and value, plus the friendliest hosts! The hotel is right across from Uchisar castle and has stunning rooftop views. Room was spotlessly clean. Appreciated how knowledgeable the hosts were about the history of area/cappadocia, learned a lot!
