Surrounded by gardens, Kaohsiung Meinong Rabbit Paul B&B provides free bike rentals. It is located within a 15-minute drive of Zhongzheng Lake and Meinung Folk Village. I think it is the 5th time that my friend and I are staying there :) I recommend this hotel at 100% mostly if you plan to visit Maolin waterfalls which are really closed from this place. This hotel is absolutely lovely, surrounded by palm trees in the Taiwanese country side. It is so peaceful, quiet and tennants are so warm. It is definitely one of my favourite place in Taiwan ❤️ Thank you !
Boasting a restaurant, garden and free WiFi, Yellow And Black Guest House is located in Meinong, 1.2 mi from Meinong Lake and 8.7 mi from Qishan Confucius Temple. The location and decor make this one of a kind. I love how Domingo has restored this old tobacco processing plant. The music room is a unique addition, and being able to prepare dinner and eat in the garden for both nights of our stay was much appreciated.
Tobacco Village is located in Meinong, fitted with Japanese style, 24 mi from Kaohsiung. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and chill at the lawn. The area is lovely. The rooms are large and the shower is fine, as is the bed. Friendly staff. Breakfast at the terras!
Set in Meinong, 3.7 mi from Meinong Lake and 6.8 mi from Qishan Confucius Temple, Meinong Yun Shanju Homestay offers accommodations with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden with a... Beautiful property, especially the garden (complemented the setting very nicely). Hosts were also great. If I was to travel to Meinong again, this is where I would stay. Overall, a lovely experience!
Featuring garden views, Mei Nong Villa in Meinong features accommodations, a restaurant, a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. I loved the feeling of being right in the heart of the countryside. The owners were kind and accommodating. I highly recommend Meinong Villa.
Located in Meinong, 2.5 mi from Qishan Confucius Temple, and 308 Highland reachable within 8.1 mi, 竹亮山莊民宿 offers a shared lounge, a garden and free WiFi. Our room was super clean and spacious. The beds were large and comfortable. The toilet was immaculately clean. The shower had a door so that the floor didn't get wet (rare in Taiwan). Our room had air conditioning and a fan to keep the air stirred up. The outdoor space they had was great with plenty of greenery. For little kids there is 2 bouncing horse playground toys and a little gravel sandpit. My kids loved the animals (pig, dog, goose, rabbits, birds) and were able to feed and play with them. The dining hall had many board games and a little fooseball table that my boys loved. The breakfast was amazing - milk tea/soymilk, sandwich with dragonfruit and mango jam, little pig pancakes, steamed bread, sweet potato chips, chicken nugget, a bowl of salad. The place is called "the 3 little pigs" and I loved the pig theme. Our host was very kind. We think this is one of the best accommodation in Taiwan for kids.
Rose Garden Motel offers air-conditioned rooms in Qishan. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the... The remote control is high-tech. It can control light, music and TV in just one gadget. The music is nice and there is a lot of different types of lighting as well. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast provided is good too.
Great if you are stopping over for a day to travel to other parts of Taiwan, very simple and old place. Very chill too. Enjoyed Cycling around the city and the lake, the lake was pretty! Mei Nong has its own simple charm but don't expect to experience anything exciting. The 咖啡清冰 (Google for the address) and 板条 wasn't bad. Stop by 食为先 for their 牛肉面 and 萝卜板, was recommended by our hosts and it was great!
It is a very beautiful exotic agricultural and natural area, which has a lot of history and culture. The town of Meinong itself is simple and very spread out, so private transport is very useful. We wandered through the town streets, visited the Hakka Museum, and did a walk in the mountains (Yellow Butterfly Valley). We wished we'd had enough time to rent bicycles and tour more in the wonderful, agricultural countryside. This is also a great location for access to mountain areas and aboriginal culture. For example, the day before Meinong, we visited an Aboriginal Culture Park at Sandimen, which was really worthwhile and I have heard that Maoilin is wonderful too.
